Hi, I'm new and just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Anne, I'm married, live in the SF Bay Area, and love all holidays. But Christmas has a special place in my heart! My husband and I are pretty much empty nesters, though my youngest daughter and son-in-law are temporarily staying with us while they get back on their feet. Between the two of us, we have five grown children, two grandsons (9 and 6), two granddaughters (6 and two months), and one "honorary granddaughter" who's five.
As I said, I love holidays and enthusiastically celebrate them all! I do love Christmas music though and listen to it year round. I buy Christmas ornaments year round as well to commemorate trips and other adventures we've had through the year. My tree may not be elegant, but it tells the story of our life together, and that's what I want. Besides Christmas and holidays, I like to knit, make cards and scrapbooks, collect comics, travel with my husband, and spoil my grandkids. I'm also a voracious reader.
I look forward to meeting all of you! And oh yeah, for those to whom it applies--Happy 4th! (and a belated Happy Canada Day as well!)
Anne
