Well any other time throughout the year all of those can come from a box or can but on Thanksgiving all of this has to be homemade. But with the turkey the only time I eat it is Thanksgiving or Christmas. cheesy:stuffed:

EVERYTHING homemade...EXCEPT the cranberry sauce...that can be canned. For Thanksgiving, everything HAS to be homemade...or else, in my family, it's not considered Thanksgiving!

I can only answer to one that must be canned....The cranberry sauce - jellied! I don't know why but I think it's the best cranberry sauce. I have tried to get fancy and make some type of cranberry relish and it's just not the same. I have to have the cheap ol can stuff!!!

The rest of it is usually homemade. Occasionally we buy pints of side dishes from a cafeteria here that has good food.

Stuffing- I love stove top but for the holidays we make homemade

Cranberries- Can because only my mom eats them

Yams- We usually used canned fro the holidays but fix fresh all the time for dinner

Cornbread- Box Mix

Gravy- Jar

Pumpkin Pie- It depends who decides to bring it for the holidays. I make homemade and everyone else buys frozen. We like both.

Stuffing- Stove top ... any homemade kind I've ever had was really mushy and had a gross texture, lol. Maybe I should try making it homemade myself this year?? :)
Cranberries- Canned! I really don't like the chunky stuff lol
Yams- Homemade
Cornbread- We don't have cornbread but always have fresh homemade rolls
Gravy- Homemade! I used to not care about the difference but since I've been making my own gravy from pan drippings with any meat I make, I will never go back to jar!
Pumpkin Pie- Def homemade!!!
Fresh or Frozen Turkey? Doesn't matter

Stuffing- I'm not big on stuffing...it really doesn't matter I guess
Cranberries- Canned. Its something about the lines in the canned cranberry sauce that makes it EXTRA delicious lol
Yams-FRESH my mom makes the best

Pumpkin Pie-Store bought, do not care for homemade.

Fresh or Frozen Turkey? Either

Stuffing - Stove Top, with stuff I add, carnberries, onions, & bacon, YUMMY!!!

Cranberries- depends on the time, I have used can but I SOOO love the homemade, everyone seems to not like the chucks I love them but no seeds!!!

Yams-Homemade, has to be!!!

Cornbread-We do not make cornbread on TD, we sometimes have homemade rolls but not every year.

Gravy-homemade gravy.

Pumpkin Pie-homemade, sort of, I maek the crust and I use the Libby can pumpkin and add my own spices, I do not sue the pumpkin pie filling though, just the plain pumpkin.

Fresh or Frozen Turkey? Either, we vary each year, we are thinking of going fresh this time.

stuffing: usually stovetop but I can't stand it either way
cranberries: canned, jellied
yams and cornbread: no one ever eats it so we don't have it anymore
gravy: Definitely homemade, my mom makes the best
pumpkin pie: either, most of my family prefer apple anyways
Turkey: frozen...never tried fresh.

I usually use canned yams. I buy the raw cranberries and make the whole cranberry sauce as ever since I started doing that my family loves it. We make bread stuffing and also the gravy. I also use canned pumpkin although one year I made it with a pumpkin and the pie turned out kind of lumpy...it tasted good though!

Stuffing- I like Stovetop and usually make that throughout the year but for Thanksgiving and Christmas my Grandma makes the best homemade stuffing!
Cranberries- canned
Yams- My Grandma makes homemade but I dont like Yams
Cornbread- Box if its made but normally we will have brown and serve rolls yum yum!
