Any idea when "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" is going to air this year?

Side Note: I tried to think of other yearly Halloween children's classics, but that's the only one I could think of...

I'm sure AMC has it's "horrorfest", or whatever it's called, but I was thinking of yearly children's/family classics (on the major networks, to be specific).

To the best of my knowledge, ABC has not released the air date, yet.

Great Pumpkin should be shown the week of Halloween like it was last year. Not sure about AMC this year, but usally skip most of it due to AMC loves to edit heavily and add extra commercials.


However TMC for October is setup to a be great this year with Actor of the month is Vincent Price. Lots of rare movies with him and many staples of his plethora of horror movies. They also have on Halloween night the great movie "freaks'. If you have not watched it yet don't forget to watch the next showing of Now Playing for the month of October.

I just can't get into the remakes. Same with Scooby Doo, love the old ones, but not the new versions.

I have this, too! I enjoy the Halloween and Thanksgiving specials, but I love the Christmas one. It has heart as well as the old Garfield cynicism.

The Garfield holiday specials are some of my very favorites. I was forced to get the DVD a few years ago, since, at the time, they hadn't played any of them on TV for a long time. - Candy, candy, candy!

I wish they would bring back the old Disney Halloween TV specials like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Disney's The Legend of Sleepy Hallow, etc... like they used to back in the 70's~

The Garfield special hasn't aired on TV in years, I think.

And that's what I'm talking about: What television "specials" for Halloween are there anymore? I know there's new stuff from within the last few years, like the Shrek Halloween special, the "Monsters vs. Aliens" Halloween special, and now the Toy Story Halloween special...but what "classics" are there of similar comparison to "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown"? And on the basic Big 3 networks (NBC, ABC, CBS)?

I know ABC Family has their "13 Days of Halloween", but that's on cable (which I don't have - I just have an antenna)...but they air MOVIES, not "specials"...granted, I am glad they continually air some of the same movies every year (like Bettlejuice)...okay, so besides "Specials", do any of the Big 3 networks air any reoccurring movies every year around Halloween? (Like "It's a Wonderful Life" gets aired every December on CBS...or was it NBC?...is there anything similar for Halloween on the Big 3 networks?!?)

Got to researching this a bit more after posting this: apparently what I was remembering from my youth was these two Disney Halloween specials:

Disney's Halloween Treat (from 1982) and A Disney Halloween (from 1983). Both of which aired periodically throughout the 80's and 90's.

I just found that this "Dr. Seuss’ Halloween is Grinch Night" is going to be on October 27, 2013 at 7am on ABCFamily.

Still nothing about Charlie Brown, though. It was on Halloween night last year
