Here's the official note from ABC's website. Looks like you were right, christmas87! To quote Charlie Brown: "Rats" (on it being aired Halloween night and not earlier.)

Thanks for the info! We have it on DVD, but it's still fun to watch it "live!" We have trick-or-treating that night from 6-8, so if the kids make it the whole time, we may have to DVR it and watch it when we get back.

yea i have it on dvd but for some reason i have to watch it on tv when it comes on.sometimes i even wait to watch it til it does air on tv then the dvd.

So it airs on Halloween night again? Geez...that's what they did last year...two years ago, it aired on the night BEFORE Halloween.

C'mon, they don't air "Frosty the Snowman" and "Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer" on Christmas (or Christmas Eve), do they? Why the hold out?

I guess they really want me to not catch it when it airs (we'll be out trick or treating).
