Shock Till You Drop reports that Screenvision is teaming up with Compass International Pictures and Trancas International Films for the 35th anniversary of John Carpenter's 1978 film Halloween, as well as the 25th anniversary of 1988's Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers. Both films, along with Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989) will be re-released in theaters next month nationwide.


The films will be presented in a new HD transfer with 5.1 audio. You can find ticket information

I will def be seeing it.. I saw Halloween and Halloween II back to back and if you were not born or a baby when they hit the big screen back in the late 70's and are use to just seeing them on TV's nothing beats seeing it on the big screen. I can't wait!!! thanks so much for this info!
 
Did see the 3rd one in the theaters but missed out of the first two. Love that so many older movies are getting a quick 2 week engagements in theaters now a days. Plus with updated sound and HD treatment it will be great no matter what,
 
Thanks for the FYI! I loved the first one, so I'm gonna totally try to get to the theatre for this.

ETA: Maybe I won't be going, looks like it might be select theatres, and none of them are really near me. Booooo! :wink:
