I know I am repeating what most say but I am thankful to be married to my very best friend who makes me laugh and makes the world a better place for me! Also thankful for my grandchildren and the rest of my family!

What a good idea! I'm doing this on my Facebook wall, but I love being thankful anywhere! I'm thankful that both my mother and father are still alive and healthy. I'm also thankful for the contributions my late stepfather made to my life and my family's life.

I don't celebrate Thanksgiving but I'd still love to join the 'Month of Thanks'. Beginning from today, I'm thankful for my close relationship with my mum. Some of you might say 'That's how it should be' but majority of people I know - and even some of my friends - are not that close to their mums. So I'm glad that my mum is also my best friend.

Happy Anniversary, MerryCarey!

Today I am thankful for my parents. They have always been there for me and if I've ever needed them for anything, would drop anything for me. They're great parents to me and even better grandparents to my children. I love them so much.

I didn't get time to post yesterday so for yesterday's post I meant to say I am thankful for my mother. She is a courageous, generous and selfless woman who will continue to inspire me always. Thank you Mum xx

Today I am thankful for our house. I am thankful we have a safe , warm and happy home to wake up, go to sleep and make family memories in.

Good morning! Today I am so very thankful for my sister, who also consider one of my best friends. She has been there for me my whole life, no matter what and now is there for me more than ever. She is EA's godmother, is helping guide her life. She is also the kid's babysitter whenever I need her. Her boyfriend of the past year or so has been so wonderful to her and she deserves it so much. The kids love him greatly as well. I hope he is the one!

Today I am thankful for rainy days.
I love the dark cloudy skies, the soothing sound and the way I want to slow down and cozy up inside.

I'm just thankful that I've made it through the last few months. They have been some of the toughest in my life but I'm here; I'm still standing (like the Elton John song, hah!).

I'm also thankful that my brother is doing better. He had a seizure about a month ago and has healed up some now.

I am thankful for my friend, Desi. I met her a year ago when we both started the same course here, in Scotland. She is probably the only person here I can truly rely on.

Today I am thankful for Fall comfort foods!
Soups, pastas, casseroles, stews and chili.
Cooler weather and cozy dinners!

I am thankful for Saturdays. No alarms, no school run, it's nice to be together with open plans and a good old fashioned English breakfast to start the day!

Today, I am thankful for this time of the year. This is the time of the year where the Christmas spirit really starts to fill the air. All of the stores are decorated and carols play constantly. People seem a little happier than usual when doing their shopping. This is also a wonderful time of year for charities and giving back. There truly is something special about November/December and I am thankful :)

Wonderful news, GingerMel. I'll keep both of you in my prayers.
