Hello everyone!
My name is Dana. I'm a stay at home mom of three kids, sons, 11 and 10, and a daughter, 8.
I was playing around with my laptop late last night and stumbled across this web site and it seemed so great! I signed up, and here I am! I haven't had a chance to look around yet, but it looks totally awesome!
I always loved Christmas time....I would even start listening to Christmas music the day after Halloween! But then there was a tragedy that happened in 1996 (my husband, myself, and our son, almost 10, and our daughter, 6, were in a car accident. Our kids were killed), and I haven't liked it since.
I want so bad to enjoy it the way I always did, but there's just something inside that keeps me from it. I play the 'game' with our three 'new' kids, but it's just not in my heart anymore. My husband and I are both Christians, and know we will see them again in God's time, but for me, I still miss them here with me.
Our three kids know all about their brother and sister in Heaven, and understand mom still misses them dearly, but I still miss the heart I had that was so into this Holiday season.
I'm hoping so bad that maybe this site will help bring that back into my heart!
God bless you all!
Dana
