I did! He goes to Hollywood. I've heard he doesn't make it past but I guess we'll see. Lots of rumors flying around. :razz:

I'm glad the auditions are done now, and we're getting into the fun part. I've seen a few that I like, but no one really sticks out to me yet.
I was actually thinking that Simon seems nicer this year! Paula just bugs me. I think it was Tuesday, or maybe Wednesday's show, the last girl, who parents both had died, she was living with a friend's family, her hair looked like a rat's nest, but anyway, when she sang, I thought she was great. Then Paula compliments her on her hair and outfit and says she needs to work on her vocals - I just about tripped on the treadmill. Then when the other 3 praised her and gave yeses, then Paula was all yeses too. Just proves she shouldn't be allowed to speak first.
Not sure how I feel about the Osmond guy - he was good, definitely, but coming from that family, wouldn't they have enough connections that he could get his foot in the door some other way? Does he need to take the opporunity away from someone without those connections? Oh well, we'll see how he does.

Really??? Michelle Kwan is training for a possible return? I hadnt heard that, wow. Yeah, our ladies team is pretty young. And the guys too, except for Evan Lysachek (sp?) and Johnny Weir - and Johnny is losing it lately! He'd better get his legs back under him soon, or he can forget 2010.

Ok, the Osmond guy I liked but, I feel the same way that someone else on here felt in their post that he should have enough family connections to get him somewhere and he doesn't need this show to do it. I liked the last girl, Rose, the one who's parents died mostly because of her story. I thought that she wasn't terrible but, she wasn't great either. I did not like the single mother girl who has the almost 2 year old and is getting divorced. I didn't think that she was great but, I liked the other girl with the baby. She had long black hair, I don't remember her name or what she sang but, I thought she did well.
Hollywood just about done (I think we have one more week). Was glad to see Bikini Girl go. She did no favors for whatever her career is (she's everywhere it seems now) but she turned my stomach.
Frankly, what we've seen so far was a weeding out of personalities at the expense of talent, probably. They want interesting people more than anything else.
Fine. Just get on with it. I'm ready to start seeing them individually with music behind them and enough of all the personality clashes and drama.

one would have thought that the ONE person who would have excelled during the gigantic pile of BS that is "group" would have been the osmond kid!! it just never seems fair to me, the group thing, i mean. dont understand why they leave it in. hate it hate it hate it.
curious tho... anyone noticed that we have seen neither hide nor HAIR of the castro sibling? i saw his hair in a shot of the dining hall tuesday night, but nothing, yesterday.
so far, my faves are the two guys who are best pals (widow and band director) the david cook look-a-like who is/was in WICKED, the black guy with the afro who i think might be steve, plus the good ole boys (one is from jasper tx and the other is heavy and bald-ish and maybe from okla) i just dont know enough about the girls yet as the ones i liked got cut last night or else didnt get camera time.

I agree this is very sad. I hope she figures out that using her body is not the way to get enriching things in her life. I understand that she is a model, but she needs to be removed from this line of work and get a new perspective, or at least removed until she understands what reality and balance is.
Can Simon bring her back as a wild card?

I'm not watching Hollywood week because I get tired of the drama from people in the groups and from those who don't make it. I'll just be surprised by who gets through when I watch the 1st night of the actual competition.
Didn't get a chance to get on here last week. I have to add that I too am glad bikini girl is gone. When she came out that first night, my husband said "OMG, she's wearing a hefty bag!" Not that he minded, I'm sure. But whoever said she could be brought back as a wild card is right - how much you want to bet Randy and Simon fight over who gets to bring her back? And that Kara claws their eyes out?
I too like the two best friends from Milwaukee (and not because I grew up near there), they are both really good. I'd love to see it come down to the two of them. We'll see though, this is one strange competition.

interesting that we NEVER saw jason castro's bro til he got booted last night. he made it thru group and the first solo and yet we never saw either performance. i think that is kinda weird, iykwim......
i CAN NOT stand that whiney chick (now i forget her name) who got moved out of one room and stuck in another and who is the drama queen from h-e double hockey styx.
last night was first time i had heard blind guy. he is great, but if he makes it to the finals, uhm, what is he going to do about the group choreography?

I did see that mental case Tatiana got through... they better get rid of her tonight because if she gets through to the final 36 (no, I haven't checked the spoilers to see if she is in or not)... 'Vote For the Worst' and Stern will put her over and she'll become 'Sanjaya MK2'.
