Tonights review. Please forgive me because I am not familiar with 95% of Mariah Cary's songs, so I might get the song titles right.
David A - “Miracle” - I swear this kid could sing the phone book and it would move me. He can sing. He sings with emotion. He is believable. Was that leather pants he was wearing tonight????
Carly – “Without You” – First of all, she looked beautiful tonight. She finally dressed the part!!! She sang this song beautifully. Very powerful voice.
Syesha – “Vanishing” – If they don’t say she was “pitchy” I will scream. She thinks she is "all that and a bag of chips." She was trying to be Mariah…and she is no Mariah.
Brooke – “Hero” – Kind of pitchy. I kind of wish she’d try something a little rock-ish and not make everything sound like a folk song. I do like her voice, but I believe that she’s out of her league now.
Kristie Lee – “Forever” – No NO NO NO NO NO. She doesn’t have the range for this song. It sounded like someone in a country bar doing a karaoke version of the song…and not well. Oh PULEEEEEZE….get her GONE!
David Cook – “Always Be My Baby” – I was wondering how this was going to work. I think he pulled it off. It wasn’t my favorite performance of his, but if he was going to be stuck singing a Mariah song, he was smart and picked the right song. He really does have the talent to make it big. (NO, you are not too old to marry him and bear his children EW! GO FOR IT!)
Jason – “I Don’t Want to Cry” – Not as horrible as I expected. That’s all I have to say about it. (I don't "not like" him EW. I just think he's a little goofy. I don't like watching his face when he sings)
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Brooke is going home this week.

I want Kristi and Syesha gone too. I just have a feeling that their fan base (Jayish has thumb spasms from voting for Kristi a zillion times each week) votes more. I know that the local newspaper here pushes Syesha down our throats three days a week, so I'm sure people down here are voting. They must have corrected the "hanging chad" thing and now the florida votes are counting.

Once again a tour de force performance from this years Idol...Krisy Lee...Was that great or what???

Archuleta/Cook...There's your final two...I didin't get Cook's song tonight...Just didin't get it but my wife was jumping up and down and clapping like a spoiled child so I guess he must have been pretty good...I liked Jar-Jar better though...Sorry..."If I'm being honest..."
