COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 273 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO NOVEMBER 2020: 248 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 187 DAYS

Happy February Winding Down! Indeed this 2nd month of the year is moving along. And we have 3 counts to get to. We have 273 days until Thanksgiving. We have 248 days until November. We have 187 days until the Bers. But folks it's Thursday so we have a weekly count to Thanksgiving. And that weekly count believe it or not is at 39! Now we started at 52. Believe it or not as we are in the 30s now we are exactly 25% of the way to Thanksgiving Day. 1/4. The way I look at this is think back to Thanksgiving Day and how much time passed since then. Do that only 3 more times and we'll be on Thanksgiving Day again. That doesn't seem insane at all to be honest. It seems shorter than it should be. And it's Thursday which means time for a Bi-Weekly poll. The poll this week involves the time that we eat.
What time do you eat normally on Thanksgiving Day:
A.) Noon-2PM
B.) 2PM-4PM
C.) 4PM-5PM
D.) AFTER 5PM

For me? It's C. It used to be B and actually when I was a kid it was A. But the last several years we usually eat around 4 or 4:30. There's no rush since we all have Black Friday off. And maybe we increased the menu a bit :). Anyway, vote for what time you eat on Thanksgiving. Have a great February Winding Down!

B for us. Definitely on the early side as some of our kids leave after dinner to hang with their in-laws.

A. And very close to 12:00. Which times out with the end of the parade here in the EDT area. We usually miss the end of the parade, but that's what the DVR is for, correct? :D

A. Noon-2:00 for me. I like having the flurry of preparation in the morning and then the late afternoon to relax and of course, a second meal of all my favorites around 6:00 pm.

COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 272 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO NOVEMBER 2020: 247 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 186 DAYS

Happy Farewell to February! I know it's tomorrow (the last day) but we are getting closer to the end of this month. But 3 other thing we're getting closer to the end/goal of are these 3 countdowns. They are as follows: 272 days until Thanksgiving, 247 days until November and 186 days until the Bers. All 3 counts moving along nicely. What's our next milestone? It's really this weekend. Bidding a final farewell to February on Saturday and welcoming in our 4th month since November on Sunday with March arriving. More little milestone markers straight ahead of us. And that's something to celebrate this weekend. You'll also notice that we are 22 days from reaching the 250 day marker to Thanksgiving. Uh huh 3 weeks from tomorrow we'll be as close to 200 as we are to 300. Yikes. These milestones keep coming when you have 3 countdowns going turkey fans. Have a great Farewell to February!

We start with snacks at A, nibbling on desserts at B, main course at C, and a late snack at D.

Talk about versatility!

I'm a fan of any occasion that has dessert before the main course!!!!

COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 271 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO NOVEMBER 2020: 246 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 185 DAYS

Happy Leap Day! Indeed, it's February 29th. It's a rare day for sure and it falls here on a Saturday in the year 2020. Pretty awesome. Our countdowns on this "extra day" this year are as follows: 271 days until Thanksgiving, 246 days until November, and 185 days until the Bers. Boom and thank you to Rich for pointing out that Monday is halfway to the Bers. That's HUGE. And it will be noted and celebrated here in this thread of course. After that? We have the 250 day marker to Thanksgiving which happens 3 weeks from today. How awesome is that? That's our "biggest" count and yet it will be halfway from 300 to 200 already. That's pretty crazy if you ask me. Ok turkey fans what's up this Saturday? Let us know. Any fun plans? Maybe using the extra day to cook up a turkey dinner? If you do please send me an invite :). I could always use a little extra turkey in my life (and stuffing, gravy, and you get the idea). Have a great Leap Day!

I am loving these counts and enjoying the extras like the "26th" and Leap Day. I am going to enjoy the Bonus Day and get some Easter and Spring decor up, later meet up with family for dinner and then to a basketball game to see my niece play in a tournament. A quiet day tomorrow to welcome in March!
