My turducken will be anywhere from 18-20 pounds. It will arrive boned, stuffed with cornbread stuffing and ready for about 4-5 hours in the oven. I have a smaller ham and a turkey breast for backup +n. I've never cooked a turducken but I've tasted them. Yummy.

Last year's favorite was lobster mac & cheese. I'll do it again this year. This year I decided to skip the sour cream in the potatoes and try cream cheese.

We got our free turkey on Friday. Weighs in just shy of 24 pounds. Last year we got a 27 pound turkey, it was WAY too huge, even though it tasted delicious, there was just TOO MUCH meat leftover even after everyone was finished eating. So 24 pounds is hopefully a good number for this year.

Almost "The Week Before" now, have a great Sunday!
Our record was 26...but I think once you get beyond 20 it gets hard to tell the difference anymore.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 10

Happy November Teens! Today folks we move along and see we have 10 days remaining until Thanksgiving. Yes. And believe it or not folks we have reached our FINAL MILESTONE until Thanksgiving Day arrives. Today is our Home Stretch till Thanksgiving. 10 days folks. Get it? I can’t believe it but we’re here. And folks we do our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving. I’m giddy as I type this but the #1 would be the amount of weeks we now have left. NEXT WEEK IS THANKSGIVING WEEK. That hit you enough? Or should I type it better? Our next milestone folks? It’s our final destination in this thread. It will be Thanksgiving Day. My goodness. I remember when we were 350+ days from Thanksgiving in the early days of this thread and now we’re down to 10. That’s just incredible. Well turkey friends this is it. Our final week of calmness before the insanity of Thanksgiving Week is here. The calm before the storm? That’s kind of how the first half of November has felt to me. Really with October being such a crazy Halloween addict month for me this has settled me down before the holiday season. Pure joy is in me right now. And I hope it’s in you as well as we approach truly the most wonderful time of the year. Have a great November Teens!

Happy "Week Before", Thanksgiving fans! Next week is indeed the big day. I think it kind of snuck up on us, to be honest. I feel like September moved by at a faster pace, but somehow October flew by and November feels like it is doing the same thing. Holy cow.

Have a great day!
