I can't believe I am going to say this, but I need to hit the pause button and hold off celebrating being 4 weeks and 30 days away from Thanksgiving. I have lost my October bearings.

I’m going to be honest and say C. I had a nightmare like this back years ago in February about Christmas Eve. I had a dream and it was suddenly Christmas Eve and in my dream I even kept saying how is it Christmas Eve already? I knew it didn’t seem right. I woke up and it was 300 days till Christmas Eve still. What a relief. I’m just not ready. It’s still October and I’m fully in Halloween mode right now. What about you? Well Mentally I am C but if you count what is in my freezer/pantry I am B. I always have at least 1 turkey in my freezer at any given time.
Still in Fall/Halloween Mode right now but this time next week but be completely different.
Oh how I hate those nightmares where is Christmas Eve and I have absolutely NOTHING bought or made and don't even have my tree up. It's been a while since I had one of those nightmares.

I knew you'd be tempted Rich!C for me too. But I could get ready fast with a quick trip to the grocery. And while the bird is roasting in the oven, I could put up Christmas lights.

I am leaning towards B too, but I am struggling with how fast October is going by, it makes me nervous to even think about it!

Happy Halloween Feel! Today folks we have 28 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 6 days to go until November. It’s Milestone Day folks as we have reached our FINAL Tom Turkey Day of the entire thread. I can’t believe it. #11 of 11. Do a turkey dance for us Rich to celebrate (or maybe he’ll save it for us for Thanksgiving Day). Our next milestone will be in 6 days. Do you know what happens in 6 days? We reach NOVEMBER and that will be our 2nd destination of 3 counts we have here in this thread. Unreal. Well let’s talk today here on this Thanksgiving Thought Thursday about that month that is coming. November. I have thoughts on it!
We all try to define each season and what date it starts. But you know what’s really cool? The first 9 months of the year don’t have one holiday that you revolve a whole month around. But the last 3 months of the year do. And I know Thanksgiving will never be given credit for a whole month like Christmas does and even Halloween does. But it absolutely deserves it. And I still think all of us think of it as October = Halloween, November = Thanksgiving, December = Christmas. And that’s the way it should be I think!
