Happy Thanksgiving! Today folks we have reached our final milestone and ultimate destination. We are on Thanksgiving. How? I don’t know but we’re here my friends. There are no other milestones. We begin out Happy Holidays time of year also today. Amazing. Incredible. The turkey, stuffing, gravy and biscuits. I’m craving. Friends thank you for being here all year. I hope to post many times today my thoughts/feelings as the day goes on and what we’re doing. I encourage all of you to keep us updated as well how your day and celebration is going. I wish the best for all of you to enjoy today. And I again thank you for being here all year. Yes, there will be a 2024 Thanksgiving Thread. Thanks to all of you but again that’s not for now. That’s for later tonight when I’m going to bed. Right now I’m hoping for a long and fun day of Thanksgiving. The parade and football will be on. Everything just seems right today on the special turkey day of the year. Turkey friends I hope you are all doing ok here on this turkey day and thank you again for being here. We’ll all celebrate together here after the year-long build we’ve had. I wish all of you and your families a very Happy Thanksgiving and a healthy one as well. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

My antenna is not getting reception this morning due to the weather, and I’m not able to pick up NBC this morning, so I am missing the parade surprise! Someone post and tell me what it is! In the meanwhile, I’m able to pick up CBS, so I’m watching it there, but they are just interviewing some celebrity right now. Talk about bad timing to have an OTA antenna!

Its ready to go!! (If anybody remembers it) did get fresh horseradish..goes good on a bite of turkey.
We have a large horseradish patch and each year less and less gets dug which I know isn't ideal but I am the only one who likes it here. Maybe when I retire, I will get better about tending the patch and you can be the first name on my list of recipients!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! Especially @Edge612 who makes our year round trip from Thanksgiving to Thanksgiving a great one! I am in a bit of a lull right now, waiting to prep a few more things for the oven and hoping you are all having a great day!

Make me second. I like it but a little goes a long way. My dad had a nice patch. He always gave me a quart jar when he ground it. One year, I was carrying the jar and accidently dropped it on the back steps. My back porch smelled like horseradish for about two months, no matter how much I scrubbed it.

Have to go start the rolls (have the milk cooling from scalding) in about five minutes. Everything else is in process except the ham that doesn't need to go in for another house then the rest is right before stuff.

Happy Thanksgiving, my friends.

I woke up at 4. Now most everything is done. The turducken is cooking! The smells are amazing.

I have the Christmas fireplace going on Youtube on my 85" TV in the LR. I chose the one with calm piano music.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I bet that was a potent smell!

Thanksgiving morning was awesome as usual. Parade on, nice breakfast of French Toast. Turkey in the oven cooking. Nothing beats it. Now off to take a hot shower and then help with some of the cooking this afternoon and turn on my team the Lions (at least they're my team on Thanksgiving).
