I think I'm having Tyson Chicken Dinosaur nuggets tonight for dinner. You're never too old to enjoy Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets! Plenty of good Christmas food will be coming our way very soon! I can enjoy the little things right now!
This is hilarious because both of my daughters eat these, specifically the dinosaur nuggets, and I always sneak a couple for myself when I make a batch. They turn out really good in the air fryer!

Happy Monday! I can't believe where we are in the calendar right now. How did December go by so fast? It's really unbelievable. This is the fastest a December has ever went by in my life. It's kind of scary to imagine that time goes faster and faster as we get older. I will try and not think about it today.

Have a great Monday!
It has really flown by...I am hoping January does too!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 345
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 318
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 257

Happy Christmas Time! Today folks we have 345 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 318 days to go until November, and 257 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone happens the day after tomorrow which would be on Thursday. And it will be the Arrival of Winter. I guess it will be a big turning point right? It will begin our 3-season journey back to Autumn. Oh boy. And our Happy Holidays continue here in this thread on this Tuesday which is Picture Day Tuesday. That’s what we love about Tuesdays in this thread. It’s always a fun time and something we all think about and dream about. I’m excited for all of you to post some great pictures today. And I will do my best to do the same. Thanks for being here today and every single day my friends. You make this thread what it is. And we will continue to enjoy it all Christmas Week long. And do not forget turkey and Thanksgiving brought us to where we are. I heard a commercial yesterday mentioning Thanksgiving and thought of all of you. It was about turkey and waiting 364 days to have it. It was kind of funny. But yeah maybe they were in this thread and got the idea to mention that. Turkey friends wrap those Christmas gifts today and dream of the dream we have which is turkey time. Have a great Christmas Time!

Rich may chime in, but does anybody know if we have a Tom Turkey Day in December? If we do, it will be next Thursday. I feel like one year we did not have one in December because of maybe where the calendar fell, but I'm all for throwing more special days at that dreaded last week of December! Precisely why we all decided to have a "Bers End Feast / Hallowthanksmas" event.

Have a great Tuesday!

Yes, we do have a Tom Turkey Day in December! We've never missed one yet.

It is almost Christmas and it feels like Thanksgiving was just yesterday to me. It has just been such a fast Bers but I really can't complain because it has been great which is why the speedy Bers perception.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 344
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 317
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 256

Happy Closing In On Christmas! Today folks we have 344 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 317 days to go until November, and 256 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be tomorrow friends when we welcome in the official Arrival of Winter. And it will begin the 3-season road back to autumn. Ahh yes, it’s hard to think today is still autumn isn’t it? But it is officially. We move along in our Happy Holidays with our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!

How are you feeling Christmas Week compared to Thanksgiving Week this year?

  • I was more excited during Thanksgiving Week than I am Christmas Week.
  • I am more excited Christmas Week than I was during Thanksgiving Week.
  • My excitement has been equal for both.
  • I was not and am not excited for either week.
  • Now this is honestly such a tough question for me. I’ll answer it this way. I’m going to pick A. The reason? I’m taking this question as of “right now” being Wednesday of each week so far I would say Thanksgiving Week was more exciting because it was Thanksgiving Eve and you know that’s like my favorite day of the year. And although the build to Christmas is so exciting right now I feel like we have enough time to go that the excitement has not peaked yet. Thanksgiving would be “tomorrow” in this scenario but Christmas Eve is still 4 days away and Christmas Day 5 days away. That’s why I’m choosing A. What about you? Turkey friends gobble gobble and remember the excitement of Thanksgiving week while enjoying the current excitement of Christmas week here today in the Hang Out!

I think "A" is such an easy answer for me. The week of Christmas is such a double edged sword because on one edge you have all of the excitement and build up to the greatest day of the year, Christmas, and then on the other side, it is a "hard" exit. Christmas just sort of "stops" when it is over that night and everything immediately feels different the day after Christmas. Even the lights can seem "sad" if I stare too long. There's none of that with the week of Thanksgiving. It's a build up and it's even better AFTER Thanksgiving is over because you are staring at all of December and Christmas. So I'm going with "A".

It's an A for me this year. I'm not looking forward to all the traveling and not sleeping in my bed. I'm excited to see my mom and family, but Thanksgiving week has a different and more exciting feel to it.
