Happy Week Into January! Today folks we have 326 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 299 days to go until November, and 238 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone folks isn’t today. And it isn’t the next 2.5 weeks either. So no need to worry about it but it will be Rich’s favorite Tom Turkey Day (#2). Folks I love our quiet weekend here in the Winter Wonderland we’re in. But I love even more our 5-day topics which will begin once again tomorrow on Monday. Pretty awesome setup we have I think. I hope you all like it and I think we’ve got a great thing going here in this thread. I always am weird about January. Part of me hates it and in recent years part of me wants it to last forever. Why? Because I always know in January that the best stuff is all in front of us which adds to the excitement/amount of time to think about them. So some may rush January or wish it away. But not me. I’m enjoying it as much as I can and thinking also about all the fun/crazy stuff in front of us. Turkey friends be safe today if you got any snow or bad weather. Seems like some storms moving through different areas here in the month of January. And I hope you all had a good first half of your weekend and to you even a better 2nd half ahead. I enjoy the routine here on the Thanksgiving Thread-- the Monday Weekly Count brightens the start of my week and helps me keep the feel of the best week of the year close to my heart. The pictures, the polls, the thoughts, and facts are great too and having the weekends to relax and reflect makes me look forward to starting it all over again on Monday.
Happy Snowfest Sunday! Well we finally got some miles on the sleds. We rode into town last night around 1 am. No chance of being stopped since a plow was nowhere in sight.

Happy January Week! Today folks we have 325 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 298 days to go until November, and 237 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone folks ain’t this week. And it ain’t next week either. It will be Tom Turkey Day #2. And it will be 2 weeks from Thursday. We move along in the very early stages of our Winter Wonderland (after receiving 4 inches of snow this weekend) with a new week of topics. 5 days folks to enjoy of these topics. And we start with the Monday special which is our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week. Right now it stands at 46 weeks. Wow. Pretty amazing isn’t it? It’s weird for some reason though time definitely seems to have slowed down since the holiday season concluded. I guess because everyone isn’t running all over. Maybe that’s one thing I really truly love about January (and winter). Everyone is inside more. I read a lot this weekend (and loved it). And just staying cozy inside more than we do the other 3 seasons. It feels good for a change. Definitely have to learn how to enjoy each time of year separately and individually. Of course, our favorite time of year in this thread is Thanksgiving. And I’m going to joke about it all year but I don’t want to get sick this year on it. Anyway my turkey friends be safe today. Even with the “slowness” of January, we only have 25 days until we bid farewell to our last 300s count in this thread. That seems insane, but I guess we did have a bonus month with December and that extra week at the end of November. I just hope it doesn’t blow by too fast. I don’t want to wish this year away.
People were wishing away July...and then we blinked and it was here in January. No wishing away time here!
That's when it gets tough...the cold. We haven't had it "that" cold yet...just normal cold or some mild days mixed in but I know it's coming soon.

Our next milestone will be 2 weeks from the day after tomorrow which will be Tom Turkey Day #2. But who’s worried about 2 weeks from the day after tomorrow? Not us. We are all focused on today. Live in the present and it’s Tuesday so why would you want it to be any other day of the week? It’s Picture Day friends! One of my personal favorites. And I know many of you like it as well. So let’s share all our pictures today as we do every single Tuesday of Autumn/Thanksgiving. Whatever makes you smile and be happy here in the depths of winter. And we are in our Winter Wonderland section of the year and we all need to enjoy it. I am serious. This year no whining (even from myself lol) about winter. No whining in the spring. And no whining in the summer. No…No…No…because we all whine and then what happens? The Bers come, we blink and they leave. How’s that happen? Well as long as we’re in January we don’t have to worry about that happening. That’s one great thing about January is that literally everything is completely in front of us. And if you’re a football fan you have to love January. And if you’re a fan of the holidays you should also because there are plenty of lights out there. And it’s an awesome sight to see. Happy junky weather Tuesday! Wind and now we have rain. Had to check on the kids pumpkins today to make sure they are still solid..lol I think the orange pumpkin will be going soon, they sure got some miles out of it.
