I love being here on the new countdown but it is sort of crazy that Thanksgiving was two days ago and we still have OVER ONE YEAR TO GO until it comes again. More time to enjoy the build up, I suppose!
Had Thanksgiving leftovers for lunch. Yum.I hope everyone, especially @Edge612, is enjoying leftovers. I know I am, I had a piece of Apple Pie for breakfast! I am looking forward to a quiet day, not much planned. Still enjoying some Thanksgiving vibes while gearing up for December!
I used to do that and it would all fall apart come October..lol. It didnt really matter because it kept me busy all year looking at stuff.I am trying to make the most of today and to keep the 5 day weekend feel going, but the work week ahead is looming. Later today I am going to finalize my Thanksgiving 2023 list/to-dos and allow myself some daydreaming about Thanksgiving Week 2024!
1 year from right now it still won't be Thanksgiving...crazy.Happy Sunday! Loving the new Thread. I am fortunate though that we don't have to have this occur very often where the countdown begins at OVER ONE YEAR. That is still crazy to me even though I understand why.
Don't forget the Sweatfest next year will slow it down too.Merry Sunday everyone. Just getting ready for the long journey back. Thanksgiving dishes are now stored for another year along with any decorations. Going to be a long trudge this year.
Today HR sent out the 2024 holiday schedule and immediately I saw Thanksgiving and Black Friday. November 28th and 29th when we haven't even reached those dates yet this year. Love it.On Wednesday, we will FINALLY be able to say that Thanksgiving is in "just" a year. It almost feels like it would be a milestone day. It is still fun and maybe even borderline INSANE that Thanksgiving was last week but it's still over a year to go. And we will say that two more times! I'm looking forward to Wednesday! Have a great day!
It's going to be a fun and great year-long build back to it!Sigh. I miss ye, Thanksgiving. But I'll "keep the light one" for when you come next year.
It's a leap year, so tomorrow will be one year until Thanksgiving. On Wednesday, we will FINALLY be able to say that Thanksgiving is in "just" a year. It almost feels like it would be a milestone day.
