I love being here on the new countdown but it is sort of crazy that Thanksgiving was two days ago and we still have OVER ONE YEAR TO GO until it comes again. More time to enjoy the build up, I suppose!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 368
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 341
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 280

Happy Thanksgiving Finale! Today folks we have 368 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 341 days to go until November, and 280 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be our first milestone and that will be the Welcoming of December when it arrives on Friday. Let’s not worry about that though yet. You notice our Thanksgiving Countdown is still above a full year? That is so rare. I’m loving that actually. It’s nice to have some extra time here in this thread. Someday we’ll look back at this and laugh. But right now we move along here in Part 2 of our weekend and it’s quiet time here. We have to enjoy the quiet because now this year we have a full stack of 5 big days of 5 big segments. And we’ll reintroduce all of them starting tomorrow. And the fact we’ll have an extra full week to build back to Thanksgiving will be noticeable here early on. I’m looking at the positives about it though. And I know all of you are enjoying being here as much as I am posting here. Turkey friends tonight I will try to post some final Thanksgiving Week thoughts. I think that would be appropriate. Truly Thanksgiving doesn’t feel like it’s over until tomorrow. This whole week felt like Thanksgiving to me. What a great feeling too. Have a great Thanksgiving Finale!

Happy Sunday! Loving the new Thread. I am fortunate though that we don't have to have this occur very often where the countdown begins at OVER ONE YEAR. That is still crazy to me even though I understand why.

I am trying to make the most of today and to keep the 5 day weekend feel going, but the work week ahead is looming. Later today I am going to finalize my Thanksgiving 2023 list/to-dos and allow myself some daydreaming about Thanksgiving Week 2024!

I have just a little bit of turkey to eat today. I'm back to my healthy eating until the day before Christmas Eve. I roasted some beets, asparagus, and carrots for this week and have a pork tenderloin, black beans, and black rice to cook. Looking forward to eating the rest of my Harry & David pears and an avocado each day.

I loved the hearty Thanksgiving dishes but they really made me sluggish. I'm not used to sugary carbs and I found myself feeling sleepy but only sleeping 5-6 hours each night. Hopefully, healthy eating will improve my sleep.

I took everything out of the refrigerators today and cleaned both of them thoroughly. Now, I'm ready to start the week.

God willing, I'll do another turducken next Thanksgiving. I may try a duck in January or February.

I used to do that and it would all fall apart come October..lol. It didnt really matter because it kept me busy all year looking at stuff.

This Thanksgiving week has been wonderful. I am in heaven and I don't want it to end. But... All good things must come to an end. Until next year anyhow. But now we have Christmas to enjoy and then we'll get serious about the countdowns again. Happy Thanksgiving Week, one last time.

Well said Rich...that's kind of where my final thoughts on Thanksgiving Week would be:
I'll miss it but what makes Thanksgiving so great is not only the build UP to it with all the fall and Halloween love but after it's over look where we are? CHRISTMAS TIME IS HERE! Thanksgiving you are awesome...and that's why we are here well over a year in advance of when you will arrive.
For one final time: Happy Thanksgiving!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 367
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 340
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 279

Happy Cyber Monday! Today folks we have 367 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 340 days to go until November and 279 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Friday. Sorry it’s not our NEXT milestone it’s actually our FIRST milestone. Pretty incredible don’t you think? And it will be the Arrival of December. Talk about a major milestone. We’ll reach the month of CHRISTMAS friends and also begin our 11-month journey back to November. This journey is extra-long friends. As you see from our countdown. Still OVER a year to go until Thanksgiving. I know it’s a technicality but still personally I think that’s one cool thing about this year’s countdown. This happens rarely and I think it’s extra fun to have Thanksgiving be later next year. It’s Monday friends so we begin our 5-day work week topics and here we go with Monday’s Weekly Segment of our Countdown till Thanksgiving Week which believe it or not friends stands at 52 weeks. Right. That shows you right there the extra week we have been given in this thread. We never start at 52. And I always say these 1st 2 weeks there’s like a no pressure feel to it. Normally it’s 1 week. So we get a bonus week in this thread. And I am excited for it. I hope you’re glad to see Monday’s Weekly Segment back for a new year. 52 weeks folks it’s laughable now. But someday we won’t be laughing. So let’s laugh while we can and enjoy the joy of the Happy Holidays segment of this thread which we’re in now. Friends, if you have leftovers from Thanksgiving you’re like me and still enjoying them. Have a great Cyber Monday!

On Wednesday, we will FINALLY be able to say that Thanksgiving is in "just" a year. It almost feels like it would be a milestone day. It is still fun and maybe even borderline INSANE that Thanksgiving was last week but it's still over a year to go. And we will say that two more times! I'm looking forward to Wednesday! Have a great day!

I was not expecting to jump into the new thread and see a countdown over 365 days. What lunacy is this?

Oh, that’s right: Leap Year.

Well, 2024 promises to be a huge year. It’s Leap Year, Election Year, and we have the Summer Olympics (not as fun to watch as the Winter Olympics, but still nice to have). Plus, after Thanksgiving next year, my family and I will be at Disney World for our Christmas family vacation we’ve been planning!

Today HR sent out the 2024 holiday schedule and immediately I saw Thanksgiving and Black Friday. November 28th and 29th when we haven't even reached those dates yet this year. Love it.

It's a leap year, so tomorrow will be one year until Thanksgiving.

I think that should be our first milestone. LOL
