DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 357
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 330
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 269

Happy Week Into December! Today folks we move along and see our hefty counts stating we have 357 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 330 days to go until November, and 269 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will happen in 2 weeks when we welcome in winter. And we already have welcomed in our Happy Holidays part of this thread. And we’re here today with our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday which became our big staple topic last year’s thread and is here once again!

Being sick on Thanksgiving wasn’t easy. I advise all of you not to get sick on Thanksgiving Day. The leftovers were amazing but I still can’t help but remember the moment I realized “uh oh” all of a sudden I’m sick as we’re on the best day of the year? And by the next day I felt better. Stay healthy on turkey day. Words of Wisdom.

Turkey friends I hope you are all having a good week so far. I am but it’s been really busy which is good too. But my Christmas shopping started on Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving really started everything amazing. That’s why we love it so much. Turkey friends enjoy your fresh Thursday. Have a great Week Into December!

Happy Thursday to all! You can't think about Thursdays and not think about Thanksgivings! I know how much you love Thanksgiving and I imagine being sick on Thanksgiving was horrible.

I used to always feel like if there was ever a "good" time to get sick, it was over the winter, where we can't do as much, versus being sick in the summer and maybe missing fun times or beach vacations or whatever. As an adult now whos getting older I realize that there is never really a "good" time to get sick, but being sick over Thanksgiving or Christmas would be the worst for me.

Have a great day!

You're right @SolidSnake84, there's never a good time to get sick. I felt bad for you @Edge612 when you fell ill. I hope next Thanksgiving is extra special for you.

I hate that you were sick on your favorite day of the year, Edge. That must have been tough. I hope you’re fully recovered now so that you can enjoy Christmas. And next year you’ll just have to enjoy Thanksgiving twice as much to make up for this year. :)

The weird thing is I woke up feeling fine. And within 24 hours of getting sick I was feeling much better (fever was gone quickly). And by Thanksgiving Weekend I was pretty much 90-100%. Fast sickness.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 356
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 329
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 268

Happy December TGIF! Today folks we have 356 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 329 days to go until November, and 268 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on the first day of winter which will happen in less than 2 weeks. But still a long 2 weeks of the Happy Holidays to enjoy before we reach that. We are in that time period now and enjoying it. And we’re also enjoying our BRAND NEW feature in this thread which is Fun Fact Friday below!

Thanksgiving is the second favorite holiday among American adults, behind Christmas and ahead of Halloween.

This seems to be based on a poll and it kind of makes sense to me. I think it’s nice though the Big 3 actually makes it. I almost thought Halloween wouldn’t make it. Maybe 4th of July or New Year’s would take it over Halloween. But based on this site and these polls people have voted Thanksgiving as #2 right behind Christmas and Halloween #3 right behind Thanksgiving. Our big trio was voted in! Now turkey friends it’s been a crazy busy week here. I am glad it’s Friday. And I’m glad that I have all these Christmas gifts to unbox this weekend. Have a great time and I hope you enjoyed our Fun Fact Friday again today. Have a great December TGIF!

Love to see Halloween getting some love in that Holiday poll! I've always felt that when we are looking at "The Big 3", obviously Christmas is the Granddaddy of them all, but on that list is all time great times / holidays. Halloween even being #4, even if it were behind July 4th, you're still in there with great company, and I feel like the "ranking" does not matter as much.

Have a great day, friends!

If you're going to get sick, then a quick one is the way to go.

I wonder on which day of the year they took this poll. Would the results have been different if they were taken on October 1st or the middle of October? Would Halloween have been ranked a little higher? It makes you stop and think, doesn't it?

I would still rank them as:
1. Christmas
2. Thanksgiving
3. Halloween

You could ask me every single day those 3 and I'd probably put them in a different order every single day depending how I'm feeling. I love them all so much.
