I was so excited that one of our local stations finally flipped to Christmas. I was listening to it and I heard the most disturbing thing. The DJ made the statement that while Christmas is a season, Thanksgiving is just a meal. What? I think that woman needs some educating, don't you?

JUST a meal? How dare she?!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 15

Happy November Teens! Today folks we move along and see that we have 15 days remaining until Thanksgiving. We move along here in our Awesome Autumn still with our next milestone arriving next week on Monday with the Home Stretch till Thanksgiving arriving. But arriving right now is our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!

With today being the MMC official start of the Christmas Season how do you feel about it?

  • The Christmas Season does not start until I’m eating turkey on Thanksgiving.
  • The Christmas Season already started on November 1.
  • The Christmas Season does indeed begin today.
  • I feel a mixture of all 3 above to be honest.
  • This might sound like chickening out not to answer straightforward but I’m going with D. I do believe it’s a mixture. I’m not able to turn the page on November 1 from Halloween to Christmas fully. And today is a cool day for sure for MMC but also part of me doesn’t feel totally Christmas time till Thanksgiving. What about you? Turkey friends have a great day. Have a great November Teens!

Happy Wednesday! I think my honest answer is a mixture of B and C. We turn the page on November 1st and Halloween lights and decorations are replaced with Christmas decorations. But there is a distinct "Halloween Afterglow" and a period of time where my heart is still being pulled back to Halloween, just not being ready to see it end again.

But we're through that now. The Christmas machine is in full force. And it feels so good to be here. Thanksgiving is our next stop, and I go get our FREE TURKEY this weekend!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

I believe in giving Thanksgiving its due and not letting it get swamped by the Christmas Season. I remember watching the Macy's parade on TV as a kid, and when Santa arrived on-screen at noon the announcer declared, "The Christmas Season has arrived in New York City." So I adopted that as MY Season start. I suppose this would be closest to A in the choices, though recently with our family growing and circulating around among inlaws, the turkey feast comes at odd times at our house. This year our time to get everyone together at Grove Manor will not come till Friday the 29th. So I get some extra anticipation time over everyone else here.

It's D for me as well. I get a big boost on each of those days.

For me, it is mostly A but I really enjoy Thanksgiving Week, and I do indulge in Christmas things during November but I like to keep one foot in Thanksgiving.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 14

Happy Two Weeks Till Turkey! Today folks we move along and see that we have 14 days remaining until Thanksgiving. Our next milestone will be our final milestone which will arrive on Monday when we welcome in the Home Stretch till Thanksgiving. We move along in the late stages of our Awesome Autumn with our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!

2 weeks till turkey time. Amazing. Where have the last 50 weeks gone? Does it ever make you wonder that? In a way it feels like Thanksgiving was forever ago and yet at the same time it feels hard to believe we’re heading towards experiencing it again.

Time is a strange thing. Things feel like a long time and yet they seem to go fast too. Not sure how to explain it but that’s how I feel these days. Turkey friends I hope you enjoy your time today on this Thursday. It’s not turkey day (yet) but it’s only 2 weeks away now. Time to get as excited as you can and this thread will hopefully help you do so. Turkey friends the best to you on this Thursday which always makes us think of Thanksgiving a little more today than all the other days we think about it. Gobble Gobble. Have a great Two Weeks Till Turkey!
