Happy Mid-November! Today folks we move along and see that we have 13 days remaining until Thanksgiving. Our next milestone and final one will be the Home Stretch till Thanksgiving. It will be 3 days from now. It should be awesome. We move along in our Awesome Autumn and bring to you our Fun Fact Friday below!
Big Bird: Big Bird's costume on Sesame Street is made of dyed turkey feathers.
Well, I grew up on Sesame Street (not literally I mean just watching it). But that fact makes sense to me. And it’s cool to know. My favorite Sesame Street character? Probably The Count. I liked him. Kind of a Halloween feel to him too. Not surprising huh? And a numbers guy like me. But I always enjoyed Sesame Street. I guess they never made a Thanksgiving special? I know they have Christmas specials. I’ll have to check it out and look that up. Turkey friends I hope you are enjoying your Friday. And I say TGIF to all of you on this Fall Friday. Happy TGIF day everyone! I believe turkey stock is being made today, I noticed a bunch of wings and legs in the fridge and veggies on the counter.

Less than two weeks now! My first Thanksgiving celebration will be a week from tomorrow at my brother’s house. Thanksgiving Day will be spent at my wife’s aunt’s house. She graciously decided to host this year, but the dinner is being catered! Not sure how I feel about that, but it does make it easy not having to prepare or bring anything. Just show up and eat!

Happy 2nd Half Of November! Today folks we move along and see that we have 12 days remaining until Thanksgiving. Our next milestone will be the day after tomorrow. Some people refer to it as Monday. It will be the Home Stretch till Thanksgiving. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our Quiet Weekend Period Part 1 of 2. No topics today, just silence. I think my goal in the next week is going to be to embrace calmness. But to really enjoy the build up to what we have coming. This is what we wait all year for folks. But we still have a full week to really get ready for THE WEEK. Yes, indeed. Turkey friends I hope your weekend will go well and that you enjoy it. It’s a fun time of year. It’s still nice out there too. We had a real chilly shot this week for a few days but now the weather is warming back up again. Might see temps get above 60 degrees the next several days. I’ll take that in the month of November. Turkey friends the best to you on this Saturday as embark on your journey into and through the weekend. And remember what’s coming soon. I think the last week of calmness may be behind me, not because the next will is going to be hectic but I have errands to do on Tuesday and Wednesday and I want to be dividing up other tasks up over the other days so next Saturday can be more fun than chores. Next Sunday is my extended family's Thanksgiving! It is almost here!
