A friend of mine once said, "real" fresh coffee is never bitter. I want to experience that one day. So far, I have not.

- Turkeys Have Two Stomachs
One stomach is for digesting; one is for grinding. Turkeys don't have teeth, so one stomach (the gastric or "true" stomach) softens the food with gastric juices. The second stomach (the gizzard) breaks down the food. Sometimes, the food can go back to the glandular stomach if more digestion is necessary.
Two stomachs. I wish I had 2 stomachs on Thanksgiving. Sometimes I feel like I do because I’m so hungry on turkey day. I hope everyone has had a great week and is ready for the weekend. It’s going to be a busy one for me but then I’m off Thursday through Sunday next week for a 4-day Thanksgiving type break. I’m glad we are not near that time of year though thankfully. Happy April Weekend! Today folks we move along and see that we have 229 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 204 days left until November and 143 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone set to arrive on Wednesday with the 200 Day Marker till November. It’s Saturday folks so time for the 1st half of our Quiet Weekend Period although my weekend isn’t totally quiet this weekend. But that’s ok, this is a good weekend to be busy as I will be off Thursday through Sunday next week so plenty of time to relax some, do other stuff and be able to have more free time to do other stuff like go to the mall. And take Damian to the park twice per day. Lots of fun stuff to do. And lots of things to enjoy this wonderful spring season. I’m looking forward to the weather cooperating hopefully. Turkey friends I hope you are enjoying your April. This is such a wonderful time of year. Knowing we just are entering the heart of spring here and have the bulk of it still to enjoy while we have the entire summer in front of us and The Bers/Holiday Season safely well in front of us. Today is going to be a beautiful cool day, but that hot weather is out there!
Three days next week we are going to get into the 90's. I don't like to think that the SweatFest has already arrived in mid April. Hopefully it's just a few crazy days and then we go back to "normal".

That will give some Thanksgiving feels for sure! Mondays off are nice but I think having the days off ahead of the weekend is even better.
Yeah I go back and forth which is better but I think I prefer Fridays more than Mondays!

We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone set to arrive on Wednesday with the 200 Day Marker till November. It’s a big one folks coming. Today though is a big day. Every day is in some way. And the weather should be beautiful again as it was on Saturday. The Sunday Group is heading to the city. We’ve had a busy weekend here but that’s ok because I’ve only got a 3-day work week coming up before a 4-day break. It will have Thanksgiving type feelings as it always does whenever you are off those days. The best to you all my turkey friends. And I hope you are doing well. Enjoy your day and make the most of it on this Sunday. It’s a fun day here in the month of April. And there are still lots of fun times ahead this spring still.
