Happy Joking July! Today folks we move along and see that we have 127 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 102 days left until November and 41 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving here tomorrow. It will be Tom Turkey Day #8. The next day we will reach the 100-Day Marker till November. Back-to-Back Milestones friends here in this thread. It’s Wednesday folks so time for our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!
What’s your favorite type of snack?

This one is easy for me. It’s B. I love chocolate and mix it in with my trail mix daily. I do love ice cream, but I only have it normally 1 time per week. But chocolate is like 1 of the 4 food groups to me. Have a great Joking July!

Happy Tremendous Thursday! Today folks we move along and see that we have 126 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 101 days left until November and 40 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone arriving here today on Tom Turkey Day #8. Go ahead Rich begin that turkey dance you are famous for in honor of it. Tomorrow is our next milestone (already) with the big 100-Day Marker till November. Pretty big day today though when you consider 40 days till The Bers and 100 days till Halloween. Unreal folks as we are truly on a great road right now in the middle of the summer. It’s Thursday folks so time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving which now stands at 18 weeks. As we progress through the teens it’s an exciting time here. I hope you are all doing well. It’s been a good week here. I do love summer and I’m not rushing it one bit but I am catching a little of the Autumn/Halloween Season bug by seeing stuff out there already (and the Sunday Group working on our fall plans already as tickets are already on sale for many of the events we plan to attend). Happy Tom Turkey Day, everyone! Today, I am thankful for the rain we’re getting that will cool everything off for the next 1-2 days. By the weekend, we’ll be back to 95+ degree heat, but I’ll take any reprieve that I can get.
This is one of the few Tom Turkey days where I won’t get to actually eat turkey. My wife bought me a little “ready to cook” salmon meal from HEB, and I’ve got to eat it today before it expires.

If your family holiday tradition includes green bean casserole, you have the Campbell Soup Company to thank. The recipe was developed by a woman named Dorcas Reilly, who worked in Campbell’s home economics department. Originally called Green Bean Bake, the recipe became a sensation when the company began printing it on the labels of its Cream of Mushroom soup cans.

I love hearing about Green Bean Casserole! I love it! It is absolutely a staple side during Thanksgiving and Christmas, and it even shows up to Rudolph Day celebrations from time to time!
I will have to hunt it down. I just love those cookies. There is coconut in them and I don't even like coconut.
