I missed the poll yesterday, but my answer is B. I think Spring holidays are underrated, especially Easter. And Memorial Day is, in my eyes, the biggest turning point of the year. It’s the first bookend of summer, the introduction to the second half of the year, and the reopening of “the road to the Bers.”

B for me, too!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 258
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 233
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 172

Happy March Teens! Today folks we move along and see that we have 258 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 233 days left until November and 172 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone arriving on Tuesday with the arrival of Stress-Free Spring. It’s Friday folks so time for our Fun Fact Friday below!

Turkey tail is a delicacy in Somoa.

While unknown to most American diners, it’s common to find turkey tails for sale in Somoan groceries. The turkey tail is a gland that attaches the turkey’s feathers to its body. It is full of oil that the bird uses to preen itself. Colloquially, turkey tail is known as parson’s nose, pope’s nose, or sultan’s nose.

It sounds good to me to be a delicacy. I love it and can’t wait to have my spring Thanksgiving which should be coming as we move along into the spring at some point. I’m not sure what date it is yet. But yeah, that’s a cool fact. The best to you turkey friends on this Friday. Enjoy your day. Be safe. Have a great March Teens!

"Indy in the month of may"
During my three-year stint in Indiana, I developed a deep appreciation for the month of May, especially Race Week in Indianapolis. The entire city seems to come alive in a way that’s hard to describe unless you’ve experienced it. Locals and visitors alike treat the month almost like a festival season, with a kind of Mardi Gras atmosphere that spreads across the city.
We were lucky enough to play a set at a club right across the street from the main entrance to Indianapolis Motor Speedway the night before the race. The place was packed with fans from all over, everyone buzzing with anticipation for race day. Needless to say, it was an unforgettable night.
May in Indianapolis is something special, and to this day it remains one of my favorite times of the year.

I worked in medical support while in the National Guard at the 500 parade one year. It was awesome!

Happy Final Winter Weekend! Today folks we move along and see that we have 257 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 232 days left until November and 171 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone arriving on Tuesday with the Stress-Free Spring. It’s Saturday folks so time for the 1st half of our Quiet Weekend Period. And boy I need a little quiet even if I have a semi-busy weekend planned. But I’m ready for it and looking forward to it as always. How did your week go? The best to all of you my turkey friends as we move along into a special weekend. They’re all special to be honest. And the best to you as we think about the weekend and all the fun things involved with them. I wish you well and hope you are doing great. We had a minor (2.4) earthquake this week, 80 degrees and snow showers. I had a vet appointment for Damian and a eye doctor appointment for myself. Friday was a crazy day at work. What a week. I’m ready for the weekend. I need it and am glad it’s here. The best to you all today on this Saturday. Enjoy it and make the most of the last Saturday of winter until the day after Christmas. Let that hit you for a minute friends. Have a great Final Winter Weekend!
