Thanksgiving 2026 Thread

Happy final Sunday of Winter! It feels great being able to post that. We have been super busy the past few weekends with painting the great room of our house, and now finally everything is done and we can put stuff back together and have the house not look so crazy with everything pushed in the middle of the room, and we have almost trails to get around lol.

The next leg of the project here is doing the kids' bedrooms, which will be infinitely easier. Lastly, we are going to get new kitchen counter tops, probably closer to the Fall / end of the year.

I'm just happy to be heading into nice weather. I'm so glad we see the end of Winter (officially) on Friday!

I have thunderstorms rolling through all day, very Spring-ish and I am hoping the lightning will help green up the grass. Then I will be under a blizzard warning from 7:00 pm tonight through early afternoon tomorrow. The scary thing is that even though they are only calling for 1-3" of snow, the prediction is for 60 mph winds so I don't expect I'll have a very good night's sleep, not just due to the howling but worrying about road conditions. If it gets too bad I can take the day off but feel bad knowing someone else has to pick up the slack.

Happy Middle Day Of March! Today folks we move along and see that we have 255 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 230 days left until November and 169 days to go until The Bers. We move along in the final day of our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone arriving as Stress-Free Spring begins. It’s going to be a great feeling folks but I have to say Winter Wonderland lived up to its name this year in my area. We had a good amount of snow, and a good part of the winter had snow on the ground. It’s Monday folks so time for our YouTube Day with today’s clip below!
