Happy Absolute August! Today folks we move along and see that we have 112 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 87 days left until November and 26 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone set to arrive in 2 weeks + 2 days when we reach the Home Stretch till The Bers. It’s Thursday folks so time for our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving. It stands now at 16 weeks. Sweet 16 friends. I hope everyone is having a good week. I’m working all week. It feels good. As much as I have enjoyed the time(s) off this summer I feel like I need to really get back into a good routine. And I’m fortunate that I love my routine. But I have 1 more summer break coming next week and then I’ll be back to working everyday into my normal routine(s) and I think that will also help me to appreciate the weekends. Turkey friends I hope you are enjoying your Thursday and our weekly countdown. The best to all of you and I wish you well. Make the most of this day and we are having fun on our journey through this month of August. The month without a holiday but the month of anticipation. Did you know that the cornucopia, also called the 'Horn of Plenty,' is a magical basket that's said to overflow with food, symbolizing a never-ending abundance during Thanksgiving feasts?

No, I didn’t know that but that’s why we did our Fun Fact Friday. Sometimes you learn something new. But interesting. Never thought of that. I like when we see the word “feast” with Thanksgiving. Makes me hungry and waters my mouth. The best to you my turkey friends as we move into this Friday. I hope your week is going well and that it finishes off strong. Fun fact - my whole life I've wanted a decorative cornucopia to have as a table centerpiece, but every year I forget to try and find one / buy one. Maybe this is the year?

I’m going off on somewhat of a tangent, but the way I learned what a “cornucopia” was was from the one printed on the Fruit of the Loom logo, which now everyone says never existed. The Mandela Effect is crazy.

Happy August Weekend! Today folks we move along and see that we have 110 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 85 days left until November and 24 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone set to arrive in 10 days. I mistakenly said it was the Home Stretch till The Bers recently but that’s not true. It is the 100-Day Marker till Thanksgiving. Oops! It’s Saturday folks so time for the 1st half of our Quiet Weekend Period. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend so far and that you have a good one. It will be busy here but nothing too crazy. I would say this is a good mixture of a weekend with some laid-back time and some exciting fun time doing stuff and being busy. Turkey friends I hope your summer is going well and that you enjoy your day here on this Saturday. I hope your week went well and that you are ready to make the most of your weekend starting today. Get that laundry done or whatever you need to do but also make some time for fun and relaxation too. A good combination is the best way to do things. The best to you turkey friends. Gobble Gobble. It was just okay. It didn’t smell much like pumpkin spice. More like pumpkin flowers, if that makes sense. But it was better than the other one my wife bought, which was some kind of lavender something. It smelled like chemicals.

On the verge of sounding "crazy", I too remember seeing that cornucopia on Fruit of the Loom. I think the "Mandela Effect" is just evidence of some kind of psy-op / aliens / government experiment. On a serious note, I can't figure out how so many people can remember the same thing on things that supposedly never existed.

Happy All-Star August! Today folks we move along and see that we have 109 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 84 days left until November and 23 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Summer Sweatfest with our next milestone set to arrive when we reach the 100-Day Marker till Thanksgiving and that is 1 week from Tuesday. It’s Sunday folks so time for the 2nd half of our Quiet Weekend Period. The Sunday Group is having a big birthday for 4 people (including my uncle). It should be fun with food, games, and laughter of course. I hope you all enjoy your day my friends no matter what your plans are. Make the most of it and I try to do that as best as I can. I always find on Sundays somehow though the Sunday Group keeps me having more fun than I even expect to have. I hope you enjoy and make the most of your weekend here this Sunday. I’ve got one more week of breaking up the long summer weeks with a few more vacation days and a WFH day which always feels awkward to me, but this will be my last planned real vacation/break at home until the holiday season.
