Happy Sweet September! Today folks we move along and see that we have 76 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 51 days left until November. Our next milestone will reveal itself tomorrow on Saturday. It will be the Final Fifty till November. It’s Friday folks so time for our Fun Fact Friday below as always!
The drink that the Puritans brought with them in the Mayflower was beer.
Interesting. I wasn’t sure what they would bring with them. But I wonder if they had Bud light and Budweiser back then. I’m guessing no. Anyone else remember when they had Budweiser vs. Bud light at the Superbowl for several years in a row? That’s a long time ago but when I was younger and growing up, I remember looking forward to it. I’ll have to check out how many years it happened, but I know it was multiple years. Turkey friends I hope that you are doing well on this Friday. I always joke about this, but a 4-day week seems so long, and it makes you wonder how long a 5-day week is. The best to all of you turkey friends. I’m no beer aficionado, but I took a sip of my uncle’s Bud Light back when I was 9 years old, and it tasted like [censored]. My dad was mortified. My uncle just said, “Let him try it. He’ll never drink beer again after that.” And for the most part, he was exactly right. I’ve yet to come across a beer I can stomach.

You and me both! I drank a beer on my 18th birthday, but I didn't enjoy it. I don't like the flavor at all.
My dad's uncle was very into beer and when we were kids would let us "sip" the can...ironically when I became legal to drink I didn't drink at all!

Happy Dozen Days Of September! Today folks we move along and see that we have 75 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 50 days left until November. We have reached the Final Fifty till November. Amazing. Our next milestone will be the Arrival of Autumn. It will happen officially in 10 days. That’s going to be another big one as we officially make the plunge into the season that will bring us the entire Halloween Season, Thanksgiving Day, and the bulk of the Holiday/Christmas Season. We are truly heading into special territory friends. I hope you are ready for the 1st half of our Quiet Weekend Period. It is a new weekend, and a lot of people are ready to get out there and enjoy or maybe just stay home and chill. Weekends here during The Bers seem to pick up with all the Sunday Group Activities especially to come. But it should be a good weekend and a good mixture to have some fun but also some work and yet also fit in some relaxation time. A good mixture indeed. The best to you my turkey friends. I hope you are all doing well and making the most of your time with everyone and everything this Saturday. I wish you well and hope you are doing the best you can this September Weekend. Amazing. Our next milestone will be the Arrival of Autumn. It will happen officially in 10 days. Happy September Teens! Today folks we move along and see that we have 74 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 49 days left until The Bers. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our next milestone set to arrive when Autumn officially Arrives 1 week from Tuesday. That will be 9 days from now. It’s Sunday so time for the 2nd half of our Quiet Weekend Period. What a weekend it has been so far. A busy Saturday and now a Sunday Group City Trip Special this week. Should be a lot of fun. No rest before our Autumn Season begins next Sunday. I can’t wait. 8 straight Sundays planned of Autumn Awesomeness. And it is always the highlight for us. Every single year. Although after that we begin our Holiday Season and then that goes bonkers amazing fun and special so it’s hard to beat that. But I kind of just enjoy every Sunday. It’s become the highlight of my week to be honest over the last several years. It’s gotten better each week, month and year. And I’m glad we have kept it going and only made it even bigger than it used to be. The best to you my turkey friends here on this Sunday. I hope you are doing well and enjoying your weekend.
