Thanksgiving Countdown and Gathering

I'm all for that. Thinking of doing one every 3 months like we talked about.
Morning! A week ago was Thanksgiving Eve (my personal favorite work day of the year). The anticipation was building for the best/most underrated holiday of the entire year (Thanksgiving, of course). But in this thread we anticipate it all year long and with that said today's count stands at 358 days till Thanksgiving 2018. Have a great one!
Think that road from September through November can be almost more exciting than December is. And I'm sure she loved the holidays so the work didn't bother her.

Morning on the LAST day of November. The LAST day of the month of Thanksgiving. And Thanksgiving proved to us this year that it deserves a MONTH and really it deserves the whole year which is why our count continues. 1 week ago we were celebrating this special day Thanksgiving with the parade, turkey feast and football. And in 51 weeks we will again. As we say farewell to Thanksgiving Month the count to Thanksgiving 2018 now stands at 357 days!
I think I might change my CIJ format this year. The whole hog is getting out of control. Might go to hams,turkeys and briskets.

Happy December! Well we now have departed the month of Thanksgiving, however it is the month of Christmas! And we now have 11 months to get ready for the month of Thanksgiving again. It goes faster than you think and want it to go so let's not lose focus on the count. We stand at 356 days till Thanksgiving 2018 here on the beginning of the 1st month on the way back to November!
I woke up this morning and swore I smelled turkey cooking! I might have to get a turkey breast for Christmas also.
Perhaps a Christmas turkey this year in the Gunny household?
