Thanksgiving Countdown and Gathering

Morning one and all. I was thinking yesterday how the 2 best "mornings" of the year by far are Thanksgiving and Christmas. Think about every other morning of the year and none have anything even close to the special feeling we feel those 2 mornings. Well here in the Thanksgiving thread we felt it 3 weeks ago. That would mean 49 weeks from today we will again. And that means our Countdown to Thanksgiving 2018 now sits comfortably at 343 days. Have a good Thursday!
What size turkey do you plan on getting? Will it be the same size as Thanksgiving, bigger, smaller?
Probably 18-20 lb again. Stuffed to overflowing..lol

Happy Friday! Yes every Friday is happy and actually the last several years I've really loved Black Friday (part of the reason I say Thanksgiving WEEK is the best WEEK of the year...every day is special that week in it's own way). But it has become the day that I buy about 75% of my Christmas gifts which makes for a fun day. But maybe the most fun day of the year? Well it might be Thanksgiving! The days are running out till Christmas! Nervous? Well the one good thing in this thread is we don't have any reason to be nervous about the days running out until Thanksgiving! We have plenty of those ahead of us. And that's a good thing while we're enjoying the glow and magic of the Christmas Season. Thanksgiving Blossoms in the grocery store start to appear around mid October. I guess Thanksgiving deco is also lumped generally into "Fall" themes, so that hits in mid to late August here. Somehow they toss in Halloween deco in Sept and instantly clearance most fall. Usually when I am sweating away in the late summer fall deco isnt on my mind..lol..just a rambling musing post here.
It's 1 week till Christmas Eve and boy did I get sick today! I was sick a week before Thanksgiving ironically and got rid of it in time. Now I've got the same challenge ahead of me for Christmas. But I still have enough strength in me this morning to post the countdown for you all. The Countdown to Thanksgiving 2018 is now at 340 days (and I hope none of you are sick that day)!
I would drink that gravy straight out of the bowl.
I'd slurp it.
