This past weekend we got a dinner invitation for Thanksgiving. Yahoo, my daughter (the one that moved in with us last November with her family) wants to have it at her new home. My reply was "Let me know what you want me to bring".
I had both daughters and their families here last Thanksgiving and it's so nice to relax while someone else does it. LOL, but I know I will end up making pies and doing a turkey breast at my home. Need some turkey here for sandwiches and etc.
But I do so enjoy being with my kids and grandchildren. I want my grandchildren to have warm family memories that have carried me through my adults years.
Best part about going to my children's home for special dinners, we can leave and come home to blissful peace, LOL, that is after we've spent time with all the grandchildren.
Being a grandparent is the best! My kids always came home with us, LOL.
