Hello there!
I'm from Quebec in Canada... I am so happy to have found the home of Christmas! I'm married and mother of 3 young men and 1 teen son and even if my kids are older, they are as excited at Christmas as they were as little kids.

In finding such a wonderful place, I hope to be better prepared for Christmas as I have never been. I have to admit I haven't been as motivated as I used to when I see the holidays arriving and this year, I want to try to make it magical again. For my family and for me. :sparkle:

Hello there!

I am going to be in Montreal next week, picking up my daughter from the Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. I have never been there before and am a tad nervous about driving with all the French signs and all (do not speak any French) Hoping I make the right turns! After that I am off to my sisters place in Vermont for her daughters wedding.

Hello, welcome! Its so nice that your children are still as excited as they were when they were younger. I have 2 Boys (who are 1 and 3 years old) but am hoping with my love of Christmas that when they get older they will still feel the same and with what you have said..it gives me some hope!

Thank-you for such a enthousiatic welcome! cheesy Yes, it's true I am not a newbie, newbie... after registering I may have visited your forums a few times and then life seemed to keep me too busy to really particpate in this Christmas forum. This time I am hoping to hang on because I need the motivation and the magic that I find from others who also love Christmas.

Christmas Star, I know I am new and we don't know each other, but if you have a particular question about a route or if there is construction...etc... I would be happy to help you out.... my dh works right beside the airport... I find it to be tricky to go to the airport at Dorval... if you search quebec transport 511 you can get info on the routes here. Goodluck on trip to montreal and hope the wedding will be just beautiful. cheesy
