Hi Alf. I've been avoiding the news like the plague lately and coming here instead. Makes me much happier!

I wish I could put my tree up now. I have to work from home, so my desk is in the spot where my tree goes and I live in a small apartment. But I am trying out new recipes for Christmas. Last weekend I made fried apples and my apartment smelled like Christmas.

Mmmm, sounds amazing, can I get the recipe?

Southern Fried Apples

These Southern Fried Apples are buttery, tender, and full of warm cinnamon flavor. Ready in about 25 minutes, they're perfect for breakfast, dinner, or dessert.

I think that's one of the really beautiful things about Christmas. It gives us the ability to just breathe and feel the magic in the air. Snow, lights, baking cookies, holiday commercials... it's all just really beautiful. I have put up my mini tree on the mantle just to bring some cheer during these tough times.
