 I have fallen a bit behind in welcoming the new members.
I hope you don't mind that I toss y'all into one giant "welcome" post?
Pull up a chair, make yourselves comfortable and if life takes you away from us for a period of time, remember we'll be here chatting about all things Christmas when you feel the "call of Christmas" beckoning you again.
To me, celebrating the true meaning of Christmas means far more than keeping our Christmas decorations up past Christmas Day. It means that we share and value the spirit of Christmas long after it has left the minds of other people who generally only celebrate for about four weeks a year.
Hey strangers - friends in waiting! When you feel like nobody knows what you're going through while you continue to chatter about Christmas; when your parents or spouses don't understand you, when your children can't relate to you, when your best friend can't quite put himself or herself in your shoes, then be assured that your Christmas forum friends can.
Welcome to the MMC forums! I look forward to getting to know you better as the days roll by and we prepare for another wonderful Christmas.
If you need a hand with anything around here, just click on the "Meet the Crew" link and one of us can surely help you out or connect you with the best "crew member" to handle your query.
Festive Regards,
AuntieMistletoeDear (you can just call me Auntie if you prefer).
