Danny Gokey Previews Christmas Album for Free
Danny Gokey’s new Christmas album becomes available later this week on October 16th. But you can hear it now for free in it’s entirety at this link. It is a good listen and will no doubt see some success this holiday season.
Recently nominated at the 2015 Dove Awards fot Song of the Year and New Artist of the Year, Gokey follows up his No. 1 sophomore album Hope In Front Of Me, with a holiday selection featuring original songs and seasonal favorites. The set was produced by award-winning music legend Keith Thomas (Burt Bacharach, Amy Grant, the Jam).
“Ever since American Idol, my fans have been asking for a Christmas album, telling me my voice would be perfect for these songs,” says Gokey. “If someone was a fan of what I did on American Idol, they are going to really enjoy what we did with this project.
“I got to take classic holiday songs, and just like I did on Idol, I add a little soul to the mix and make it a fun collection of what I do best. My wife says this is her favorite album that I’ve ever done.”
