Country artist J.D. Shelburne introduces It’s Christmas Eve, a festive country song of Christmas warmth.
J.D. grew up on a tobacco farm in Taylorsville, KY, a tiny town southeast of the Ohio River near Louisville KY.
J.D.’s love for Christmas runs deep in his heart. Every Christmas season JD and his happy gang of elves pay a visit to St Joseph Children’s Home in Louisville Ky to help bring some Christmas to the children who live there.
After the show JD and his helpers go shopping for gifts that JD will personally deliver to a family in need.
“It’s Christmas Eve” was written by Frank Michels and Rob Simbeck. When JD heard the song he know he had to record it. It’s got that laid back country feel, with a little big band thrown in.
