Office Christmas Party Releases December 9th

What kind of Christmas movie will it be if it is announced in February, filmed in April and released in December? That’s the plan for Office Christmas Party, a new movie to star Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman slated for a December 9th release later this year.

According to Hollywood Reporter the film is a comedy about an office holiday party gone awry. Will Speck and Josh Gordon (Blades of Glory) are directing.

The movie is set in Chicago but will film in Atlanta (evidently the incentives for movie makers to make movies in Georgia is greater). Give the timeline, the directors and the subject this one is already coming in with very low expectations.

Remember “The Night Before” from Christmas 2015?

That’s exactly where this one is headed. Blech.
