I am not a fan of Harry Potter (or I should say I have never seen any of them...) But this village looks so cool from Bradford Exchange!

I am, I love the movies and the books. I’ve also been to Universal Studios in Florida about 5 or 6 times and each time, I go over to the Harry Potter areas of the park. They are so cool. I just love them.

That is a really neat looking village.

Lavender oil? Does that really help you get to sleep and or keep you asleep?

I suffer from time to time, where I cannot sleep more than a little bit at a time. It’s like, I’m so tired, I fall right to sleep, and then 3 hours later, I’m awake, then it’s the in and out game of sleep for the rest of the night. I wake up in the morning feeling so exhausted.

I’ve tried ambian, Xanax, and now I’m getting ready to try another med.
I have a very similar problem. I fall asleep easily and sleep roughly 4 hours and then wake up. I seldom fall back asleep, it usually takes me 2 hours to get to sleep again but by then it’s almost time to get up. Or I’m in and out of sleep for the rest of the night.

They call this maintenance insomnia and one way to deal with it is going to bed only for the time you usually sleep (ex: if I get up at 6am I should go to sleep at 2am only) and gradually go to bed earlier and earlier until your actually sleep for longer periods. Problem is by 10pm
max I totally pass out, so no way for me to apply this technique.

Hope you find the right way to deal with this issue xmastidings.

I real quick grabbed my phone and went outside and took a couple pictures and a video of it. I was about like 40-50 feet away from it. I watched it for about 10 minutes, before it went back into the woods.

How cool is that!

Ditto! When it starts to get around 9:30, I’m yawning, can’t keep my eyes open and when I go to bed, it’s boom, I’m out like a light. Then every night, between 2-4am, I’m awake. I do usually fall back to sleep, but the damage is done already, i feel exhausted.

It’s cool, but doggone it, be careful if you’re around him again! Take pictures through the window instead of going outside!

It is calming, and will help you relax, so you can sleep better.

If you read this article, toward the bottom there are ways lavender essential oil can help you sleep.
I have used both a diffuser, and made my own mixture to spray on our bedding. I know some people who actually apply it directly to their pulse points. If you decide to try that make sure to do a skin test first.

Good morning ~
Happy Saturday!
Not too much going on here today. I’m heading out soon to make a big food shopping trip, just having a cup of coffee and relaxing for a few minutes. My future son in law’s birthday is today so we’ll be celebrating later tonight. That’s about it. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful weekend!

Morning MMC! Happy Saturday! 3rd one in a row I went out to Dunkin to get my iced coffee and it's raining. Consistent. But nothing like the last 2 where it was pouring. Should have a few thunderstorms later on. Just some errands today. Have a great Saturday!

Good Weekend Morning, Folks!
Our weekly oasis has arrived again, right on schedule and without a glitch.

The new count numbers arrived without a glitch, too.
And here they are:
Days to the Season: 87
Days to Christmas Day: 129

And sure enough, following the pattern, our newest Milestone marker distance number also appears dependably day after day as well.
Would you believe it if I told you the TWO-THIRDS point to Christmas Day would be here ONE WEEK from today?
OK, don't believe me. (But believe in the chart - our Countdown bible!)

Got most of the remainder of my yard work done yesterday after another day absent rain. Plenty of humidity is present however, and I postponed the heavy stuff until the late afternoon/ early evening.
Today shows a better chance of precipitation and it has commenced here in central NC at 76 degrees.

Have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone.
And a Wow Weekend, too!

Happy Saturday...I was up early..I had to take my daughter to soccer conditioning for 7:45 and then she has soccer camp until 11. My husband is going into work for a few hours and looks like we may get some rain today. I will catch up on laundry and we are going to our friend’s house for dinner. Hope you all have a great day!

Hope your daughter has a great time! Sending hugs to you, Minta~
Sunday's dinner sounds amazing. Enjoy your special weekend together!

My daughter did this a few weeks ago!! It was her first time too and it was very strange not being able to talk to her (no cell phones allowed either) but when we picked her up, she was asking to go another week..lol She loved it.
Hope your daughter has a great time!!

Thank you ladies... Have to take her shopping later today so she can get everything she needs for camp.

Good morning all.
Well, today is the last weekend before school starts. I am finally getting into the school mindset.

We some rain yesterday and last night and finally today the sun is back out a little. The humidity is dropping today and tomorrow is suppose to be nice. I am really looking forward to Fall weather.

I am ready for all of the things that come with Fall; the pumpkin everything, cooler temperatures, Halloween music and decorations, football, and of course it means we are approaching Christmas!

Everyone have a great day!

Hi friends!!!
Hope you all are having a fantastic weekend!!! Enjoyed reading through all of the posts this afternoon :) . Such cute kitties and bear photos!!! Lavender really does help me sleep too, when I was a child my mom always put it on our pillows before bedtime. I love the airwick lavender plug ins with essential oils too.
Today has been a pretty good day, I woke up at 6 am this morning and went for a 6 mile run (lots of 6's today, huh)! Then the in laws came over and we went out to chic fila for lunch. Going to take it easy the rest of the weekend!
