Good evening,

2 days in a row!
Christmas is slowly starting to bloom, Kohl's website has already started selling Christmas t shirts, none have caught my eye yet, but my collection of Christmas shirts has gotten large over the years. I still look for more.
My thoughts are with you all going through changes, tough times, and that hurricane if you are in the path.
Goodnight, everyone

Do you have t-shirts or Christmas themed button ups/polos? I'd be interested in seeing your collection. It may be something I'd like to start collecting/wearing.

It is mostly t-shirts and ugly sweaters.
I made a photo album of them here a number of years ago.

My collection is larger now, and a number of the shirts pictured there are now "retired."

I hope everyone is doing well on this somber September 11th morning. It’s a day of remembrance for those who gave and lost their lives. I know none of us will ever forget.
It’s going to be another cloudy and rainy day. Not too much going on here, I have to do some food shopping this morning. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. Dinner will be tacos.
I tried to do some decorating last night and I had a difficult time with Rocky. He is a very high strung puppy and decided he wanted to attack everything I took out. It was very frustrating. I decided my Autumn decor will be light this year. I ended up putting out a few things in places he couldn’t reach. It might be for the best because I’ve kind of been overwhelmed with my daughters wedding plans, it will be good to simplify. I am worried about how Rocky will be with my Christmas trees. Hopefully he’ll eventually calm down.
I hope everyone has a nice day.
xx

Aww I worried the same thing last year when Gandalf was still a crazy puppy and his first Christmas lol, putting up the tree went better than I had expected and every night him and the kitty would fall asleep under it :) . I hope Rocky calms down a little bit for you so you can get up your decorations! If not you might have to do one like this? ;)

Good Morning, Hurricane Hunters.
Watchful, we are. Ever watchful. This monster of a storm grows more menacing by the day.

But the show goes.
Here is the latest:
Days to the Season: 63
Days to Christmas Day: 105

Well, now. A scant FIVE days remain until we reach the 100-DAY CHRISTMAS DAY Window and the start of a double, double-digit count.
(Moving right along at a brisk pace!)

The weather? Well, what can I say. We wait and worry.
Got all our supplies in place for the inevitable loss of power. Just hope we don't get any pine trees down on our house!
Had a brief thunderstorm last night (unrelated to Florence) but today has dawned clear and calm, belying the storm to come.
Our reading is 70 degrees here in central NC.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, my Friends!

Thanks Crown! I hope everything works out ok for you and your area with this storm!

Happy Tuesday...on this somber day, I cannot believe it is 17 years since that day.
Typical day of work and tonight I have my oldest daughter's open house at school. Continued prayers for all those in Florence's path...I hope everyone is safe.
Have a good day!

I haven't yet found an "ugly" Christmas sweater that I'd like. I've searched online and they're often on the sketchy side (reindeer ... uh, coupling and stuff like that). I'd just like to find out with a wild, Christmassy pattern. Just can't hook up with one.

As much as I LOVE Yorkies, they often have a ton of energy as puppies, don’t they? Loki broke a few ornaments our first Christmas. But Rocky is still tiny so I think it won’t be difficult to keep things high up away from him. I’m sure your Fall decorating will look great. Enjoy your day HMG.

Good morning MMC!! Merry Tuesday!! Seems like I've been gone from here for a really long time, even though it was just a 3 day weekend!!

The Buckeye game was fun & extra super wet!!! UGH!! We had rain suits, but they still got soaked through. We left the game at the end of the 3rd b/c it was just miserable. 3/4 of the stadium was leaving. The rain just wouldn't stop...and it was cold!! We walked over 2 miles to see/surprise my nephew & his girlfriend at the sports bar they were at & they were just getting into their Uber! LOL! Bad timing. We got to talk to them for about 2 minutes! But it was a good time. We got back to our friends house & I put on my flannel jammies & they felt awesome!!! The "slumber party" was a lot of fun!! :D

My day off yesterday was spent making soup, went to the lake, went grocery shopping, visiting at moms & on the phone over 3 hours w/ family & another family who is starting with Amish help - trying to figure out Amish drama. Aren't they supposed to live the "simple life??"
Back to the grind today!!!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend & your week has been off to a great start!
