Christmas Countdown - 2018

Another cold and rainy night here but that's okay. I'm curled up with a blanket watching Bar Rescue. Tomorrow I am closing another CVS in the area to help out so I get to relax in the morning. I think it is supposed to rain most of the week for us here in South Jersey

Good Evening MMC. Beautiful night (temperature wise that is), that's because it's like 59 degrees outside. Tonight, because the temperatures dipped down like that, I started a fire in our fireplace for the very first time; Yea!!! It's been awhile since I have had a wood burning fireplace and let me tell you, it looked and felt wonderful!
It was the first time that Ariel and Shiloh has ever seen a fire before. They were at first, extremely skittish of it, but after a little while, they were laying on the rug with us, enjoying it.
It was nice, warm, relaxing and romantic too!

MMC has been on my mind a lot lately, I have been meaning to
visit but I always seem to forget or I get sidetracked.
It is a chilly day, the electric fireplace is on, and Christmas is on my mind.
Everything here is okay, been very busy. I hope to visit more often now.

She was a very lovely, down-to-earth lady, and we cherish all our visits with her. They don't make them like that anymore ...

That, I can truly understand. I felt that way about my grandfather in the very same way, when he passed at 98. So I understand exactly what you are referring to.

Morning MMC. It went from hot to absolutely chilly way too fast. But it's a rainy raw morning here. I had to ditch the shorts yesterday which is always a little sad. Should be warmer this week though at least with highs mostly in the 70s but unfortunately not much sun. Hope everyone in the path of the hurricane stays safe and it isn't as bad as they predict. Have a good monday!

And indeed it can!

Well, I cannot discuss the weather without mentioning the hurricane approaching relentlessly from the southeast. We are still squarely in the "flight path" and are starting to run out of time for it to change direction to spare us. Still keeping our fingers crossed, though.
Our temperature reading this morning is 72 degrees.

My daughter had her first softball game last night and it was chilly but looks like we are going to warm up tomorrow.

Merry Monday MMC!
It’s going to be a cloudy and rainy day with temperatures in the upper 60’s. Typical day of errands and chores for me. I’m heading out soon to make a Target run. I still haven’t touched my decorations yet. Frustrating but I will get to it soon. My daughter and I spent a lot of time on wedding plans this weekend and we accomplished a lot so I’m very happy about that!

Good Morning, MMC friends~

Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a nice weekend.

We kept ourselves busy with yard work, laundry, and helping a friend here that has water damage in her basement.

The weather has been really beautiful. Much cooler in the mornings, starting out with 40's and reaching upper 60's and low 70's.
Harlowe has been enjoying deck time with us, it's the best time of the year for that.

Please keep Adrian in your thoughts, as he is making some professional changes. Change can be rewarding in the long run, but isn't always an easy path.
Harlowe has not been feeling well, either- I'm unsure if it's uneasiness with so much change in our lives/schedules, medical, or both. We are hoping that when things settle down she will be more at ease. She has her annual cardiologist appointment towards the end of the month. Please keep her in your prayers.

Keeping all of you in my thoughts, and prayers~ sending hugs and positive energy for those who need it.

Good Monday morning! After a sunny and cold weekend, temperatures will be on the rise this week but rain is moving in later today. David is at work so I think I'll use this time to watch things on Netflix that do not interest him. I'll just get a few chores out of the way first. Have a wonderful start to the week everyone!
