I hope everyone is having a great night. I had an eventful afternoon. When I picked up Carolina from my cousins house today, she slipped on the bottom of her wet sneakers and hit her head. We took her to the ER just to he safe and she ended up with 2 staples in the back of her head. My cousin Evie went with me since Mike was at work. Surprisingly I was calm the entire time. We have to take her in a week to get the staples removed.
Prayers that there is nothing serious going on.
Thank you! She seems to be okay. They were not worried about concussion since she stood right up and started crying right after it happened. Now I am worried about her touching them and when they have to be taken out

I keep watching updates on the hurricane, and I am just in awe of the pictures from space they keep showing. Please anyone close to where this thing makes landfall stay safe.

You are missed, I think of you often. I remember these late nights here on MMC with you years ago. We would play the games on the forum replying to each other's answers as quick as we would post them. You were an amazing person, and a great friend.

Thank you! It was very scary. She kept worrying about stitches, especially since her dad just got stitches on Monday for a cut from a box cutter. I think I will put those 2 in a bubble for now.

Morning MMC. Watching the weather channel here and hoping for the best for anyone in the path of the approaching hurricane. These things seem more scary by the year. Other than that, just another day at work. A friend sent me pics yesterday of them putting up their Halloween decorations. It's pretty exciting to see that. Haven't seen any out quite yet here. Off to work in a bit, going to be a long day.
Tomorrow, my daughter and her maid of honor (LittleCS) and I are going wedding gown shopping.
I have to find a dress too as I have been informed that I will be walking the bride down the isle.

Have fun dress shopping Star! I need a mother of the bride dress as well. I’m cutting it close as far as ordering one goes, I might end up having to buy off the rack.

We’re expecting showers today with a high of 75 degrees. I’m just having my coffee and watching the news. Prayers are going up for everyone in the path of the hurricane. I don’t have too much going on here today, typical day of errands and chores. I’m going to stop by my parents house while I’m out to visit them. Dinner will be fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy and roasted asparagus. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Poor thing, I hope she is alright this morning.
Good Thursday morning! It's nice and cool right now with the windows open in the appartment, but temperatures and humidity will be on the rise for the next few days. I have four days left to my vacation and to be honest, I wish I had more time off and don't really feel like going back to work on Monday. I think the fact that David wasn't on vacation made this time off less enjoyable. I have to do some laundry today and hope to do some de-cluttering in a closet or two. And I want to watch a couple more episodes of Legion season 2 and maybe watch a movie tonight. Hope everyone will have a great day!
