She got into something apperantly and now has a blockage. The vet gave her some meds yesterday to try to get her to pass it but she couldn't.

We finally get to go to Duffields for Carolinas school trip today. We will go on a hayride to the pumpkin patch and pick pumpkins. The classes will each get a bible lesson from their bible teacher in the learning barn. While they are with their bible teacher the parents will be able to go inside the farm stand and shop if they would like.
The high today should be 69 which is perfect for a hayride. It is supposed to rain tonight into tomorrow. I hope everyone has a great day

I get to say "Good Morning MMC" today as I'm at my "old" job 1st this morning! Merry Friday Eve!!

Just work for me today job #1, then job #2 this afternoon - tonight I have a ton of laundry to do- I've been slacking this week!! I'll get that started at lunch. Last night I browned some burger to make chili over the fire this weekend, & also made some cheddar pepper pretzels for the weekend. We had a bonfire at the neighbors. It got later than I excepted, but boy did I sleep good when I finally made it to bed!

Good Morning, MMC!!! We are off to a chilly start but it should be a beautiful day with a high of 65. It’s going to be a pretty laid back day after driving 750 miles and checking everything out over the last 2 days. I just need to run to the grocery store and will be waiting to hear how Ella’s surgery went. I hope everyone has a great day!!

Merry Thursday!
It’s going to be mostly sunny with highs near 70 degrees. I took Rocky for a walk earlier and locked myself out of the house lol. Thankfully I had my cell phone on me and my husband was able to come home to let me in. I just caught him, he was getting ready to drive in to the city to be on a job site. Hopefully the rest of the day will be uneventful. Just a typical day of errands and chores for me. I took chicken out for dinner, I’m trying to decide what to do with it. I might throw together a chicken pot pie if I have all of the ingredients. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!!!

Good afternoon, MMC~

Hope you're all having a nice Pines Day!

Speaking of pines...we had a large pine tree fall on our property from last Thursday's storm. I had to do some digging on the county website, but it ended up falling from city property, and they removed it promptly. We're just relieved that no one was hurt, and that it missed the house.
In case the city wouldn't have been so neighborly, our friends/neighbors on our cul de sac were ready to help. We are quite blessed.

I called to check in on my Mom last night, and Dad answered. He said that she was on her first outing in over a week and a half, at a quilt guild meeting. Yesterday was a decent day for her <3 She finished her antibiotics, we are praying that good days and healing continue. Thanks again for the prayers for her.

Fall weather has arrived in Wisconsin. We went from 70's to 40's in 24 hours. So from average temps to below average very quickly. It was chilly last night on our walk, with rain and winds. It made firing up the fireplace feel even cozier.

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

It's been a crazy-busy morning, mostly on the phone. Then Nancy calls to tell me that I have to leave work early to take Elizabeth's car for service. Then we're meeting Jacob for dinner.

Also, my brother called me with a real deal on a lawn mower. I told him I'll take it; it's too good to pass up. Now I just have to figure out how to pay for it LOL.

Bonfire was great & relaxing but I'm paying for it today....cough, cough, cough. Darn allergies!! (But soooooo worth it!) And I'll do it again Saturday when we make soup over the fire! Ha ha!!

Wow! I get to do a little midweek check-in. Bambina woke me up last night and said she wanted to sleep with us. I put her in the bed, she went to sleep, and turned into the Karate Kid. So, I get up and go get on the couch. When I do, I lay down in a pile of vomit. THAT. WAS. AWFUL.

She must have gotten sick when she was coming to get in bed with us. Needless to say, I have been wide awake since about 3:00 a.m. She stayed home from school...just in case. She is laying next to me watching Rock Dog...her new favorite. In the meantime, I'm getting some much needed things done around the house while the wife is at work.

Macaroni and cheese candy canes? I think I will sit that one out. LOL.
