Happy Friday Eve! Just work for me today and my daughter has softball practice tonight and my oldest daughter has a pasta party...so I will be the taxi tonight...lol as my husband has to work late tonight. I think we may have pizza tonight for dinner.
Last night I dropped my daughter off at school for a club meeting and this house was all lit up, of course I had to snap a pic! View attachment 50451

Happy Thursday, MMC!!! Nothing new to report here. Just getting geared up for the big fall festival tomorrow. I’m already drooling thinking about all of the deep fried goodness. I hope everyone is having a great day!!

Well, it's been an interesting Thursday morning already. Woke up to a bit of a rainstorm at 5am, then it was overcast for a couple of hours, now blue skies with a bit of a breeze. I'm off to do some chores and pick up some things for Thanksgiving weekend. We're going to try duck this year instead of turkey. There's only three of us, so it's no use to cook a huge bird.

The store are now inundated with Halloween candy and it's so hard not to pick up a few boxes. I know that they will be long gone before Halloween, so I'd best not. But I did pick up a nice set of Christmas cards from Costco this week. I can't wait to use them for the card exchange.

I'll try to get some baking in this afternoon, if there's time. Enjoy the fall weather all.

72 degrees until the rain shows up. We will wake up to 37 degrees, tomorrow morning.

OK, Mother Nature made me fib. It was 34 degrees on the way out the door, this morning. I heard her giggling, as I made my way across the yard to the car.

Good Thursday MMC! Well I got my first ever speeding ticket yesterday (I had gotten a few other tickets before in the past). It was my fault although it was a road that was straight and then was heading downhill and right at that point where your car starts to naturally accelerate was the cop. But I'm just going to pay it cause I don't have any points on my license and want to get rid of it. Today we have a BBQ at work but we're so busy in my department we may not be able to be there much. Have a great one today!

You should have thanked the officer for his work, accepted the ticket, and invited the over worked - ness to your BBQ.

Good afternoon MMC!! Merry Friday Eve! I'm back at the old job!! I'm going to have to work on finding a way to pull up some MMC at my new job!!

It's been "one of them days" - I wasn't feeling too well this morning. Darn allergies/mold! I thought about coming to my old job 1st this morning just b/c I wasn't sure my head could wrap around the new job stuff, but I made it! Whew! I knew before I even sat up in bed that it had to be raining out b/c my sinuses were crazy!! Sure enough... Then the sun & humidity arrived - and then it was spitting rain & now it's just dreary.

Not much up after work today. I'll be heading to the grocery & then hopefully chill for the night...in the AC!!!!

Good afternoon ... we are well into that rollercoaster of temps now. Some days nice crisp and cool and other day warm, al most summer like. I will be happy when the temps start staying more chilly ... I am in the mood for homemade soups but still warm for those. Haven't had the chance to decorate for fall/Halloween yet, hoping to have all that done by this weekend. Take my daughter shopping tonight for a dress for the homecoming dance. Hope everyone has a great day.

Carolina and I baked cookies this morning. Now we just got back from a fall walk around the neighborhood. We found lots of fall decorations. We also saw some flowers. She would like to know if anyone knows what this flower is? We know it is not a mum and I want able to answer her question

Merry Wednesday!

It was a warm, rather muggy day and now it is rather chilly out. I had the windows open for a few hours ~ so nice to let in the fresh air! Got a lot done today and even had time to play with the kittens.

How are the kittens? Can't wait to see pics! ♥

A little excitement today. I saw a large bear below our house today. Probably an older male. It's the biggest one I've seen. We knew there was one in the neighborhood but I never imagined he was this large. We will have to pay attention outside. I'll keep a rifle nearby while raking leaves, (not to shoot it, just scare it off). Bear season starts soon. Hope he avoids the hunters.

Hopefully fall temps will begin some time soon. Highs in 70s and lows in 60s are depressing this time of the year.

YIKES!!!!! Stay safe from the bear!!

Good Thursday morning! Why am I up at 5am on my day off?! At least it means I have Loki sleeping on my lap all cozy wrapped up in a blanket. It will be rainy for part of the day and then warm and muggy. David and I will go grocery shopping this morning and then we both need to get new shoes, so more shopping this afternoon. I keep putting it off but when I'm in so much pain from walking after a day's work, it's more than time to get new shoes. Hope everyone will enjoy a great day!

Love it!! There is a house by us at the lake that has a little graveyard & blow ups like that, but they are ghosts instead of pumpkins. So cute!!
