Not too much going on here today, I just have to run a couple of quick errands this morning. Back home afterward to work on my chores. My oldest has off today so we’re going to grab lunch and then shop for wedding favors. That’s about it. I hope everyone is well. Have a nice day MMC!

I'm sticking with Vinca's! I have lots of petunias & they are similar to vinca's but just a bit different.

Petunia flowers are a bit more "trumpeted" & the Vinca leaves are a bit smaller & shinier!

Happy Thursday, MMC!!! Nothing new to report here. Just getting geared up for the big fall festival tomorrow. I’m already drooling thinking about all of the deep fried goodness. I hope everyone is having a great day!!

Well, it's been an interesting Thursday morning already. Woke up to a bit of a rainstorm at 5am, then it was overcast for a couple of hours, now blue skies with a bit of a breeze. I'm off to do some chores and pick up some things for Thanksgiving weekend. We're going to try duck this year instead of turkey. There's only three of us, so it's no use to cook a huge bird.

The store are now inundated with Halloween candy and it's so hard not to pick up a few boxes. I know that they will be long gone before Halloween, so I'd best not. But I did pick up a nice set of Christmas cards from Costco this week. I can't wait to use them for the card exchange.

I'll try to get some baking in this afternoon, if there's time. Enjoy the fall weather all.

OK, Mother Nature made me fib. It was 34 degrees on the way out the door, this morning. I heard her giggling, as I made my way across the yard to the car.

A little excitement today. I saw a large bear below our house today. Probably an older male. It's the biggest one I've seen. We knew there was one in the neighborhood but I never imagined he was this large. We will have to pay attention outside. I'll keep a rifle nearby while raking leaves, (not to shoot it, just scare it off). Bear season starts soon. Hope he avoids the hunters.

Hopefully fall temps will begin some time soon. Highs in 70s and lows in 60s are depressing this time of the year.

I've never seen one near our place. That would be exciting! Well, from a safe distance, anyway.

Ok. Who put the mr bubble in the pines hot tub? Who threw toilet paper around the sleeping Crown and proclaimed them a " mummy"? Who allowed Jayish in in that leopard print? And who told Made to break into a chorus of the 1970s hit " Afternoon Delight"? That's it ... The Pines is officially out of control ... Yabba!

ALL of that sounds like something Made would do. Just sayin'.

Good Thursday MMC! Well I got my first ever speeding ticket yesterday (I had gotten a few other tickets before in the past). It was my fault although it was a road that was straight and then was heading downhill and right at that point where your car starts to naturally accelerate was the cop. But I'm just going to pay it cause I don't have any points on my license and want to get rid of it. Today we have a BBQ at work but we're so busy in my department we may not be able to be there much. Have a great one today!

We just returned form a long lunch retirement party for a longtime colleague. I'll hate to see him go, but I'm happy for him!

I went to the school yesterday afternoon to help Elizabeth with play props. I thought I was just moving a few things, and suddenly I'm the prop master. I warned them that I'm dangerous with a hammer, but they wouldn't take no for an answer. That girl!

If you could easily choose, and follow - up on your decision, would you skip the Big Fall Festival to spend Thanksgiving with some of our merry community in Canada, or stick with the deep fry feast?

Hmm, having seen some of Christmasstar’s baked goods over the years, I might choose Thanksgiving with her.

Good afternoon MMC!! Merry Friday Eve! I'm back at the old job!! I'm going to have to work on finding a way to pull up some MMC at my new job!!

It's been "one of them days" - I wasn't feeling too well this morning. Darn allergies/mold! I thought about coming to my old job 1st this morning just b/c I wasn't sure my head could wrap around the new job stuff, but I made it! Whew! I knew before I even sat up in bed that it had to be raining out b/c my sinuses were crazy!! Sure enough... Then the sun & humidity arrived - and then it was spitting rain & now it's just dreary.

Not much up after work today. I'll be heading to the grocery & then hopefully chill for the night...in the AC!!!!
