Good afternoon, expecting a brief warm u p in temps (mid 60s) before dropping again tomorrow. Looks like our 1st noreaster of the season will hit us this weekend with lots of rain and wind. Not much going on this week. Just work and trying to finish cleaning, decluttering and purging at home. .. why does that seem like an never ending cycle? Oh well have a great day!

Hello all! I haven’t logged in for a few weeks and know the season is getting closer, so I wanted to catch up!

Not much new here - just busy like usual, especially with the kids. It’s that time of the year whenever I get a free minute, it’s spent with the family. We’ve been doing a lot of fall activities and having a lot of fun!

I think tonight, we will do a Halloween movie night. We haven’t had much time to do this together yet, so that’s my plan. Thursday is Trick-or-Treat. This night is very special in my house. Since it’s not an official work holiday, I’m ever to take it off every year and make it very special for the kids. The whole day is a blast. I make them a special breakfast and while they’re at school, I bake a special treat, and have a themed dinner for them when they get home. I decorate a ton anyways, but when they get home from school, I have the house even decorated more, have music and tv Halloween themes playing, and have a mini party for them. We play themed games and have a great time. We go trick-or-treating with a crowd from our neighborhood and then come home and watch Charlie Brown with candy and popcorn. The kids have school off the next day, so this makes it nice - they can stay up later. I’m really looking forward it!

I hope all is well with you all and that you’re having a great day so far!

SUGAR!!!!! How ya doing there my friend? It's good to see you as always. I hope you and your family are doing well.

Ahhhhh, I miss those days and evenings, spending it with my kiddo's for Halloween. I used to take them out Trick-or-Treating every year with a group of us also. I would pull a red wagon around (with the wooden rails) I'd pack a small cooler (you know, adults get extra thirsty on Halloween), some blankets, an extra bag/ container to put their candy in it, so it's not too heavy for them and of course flashlights. I used to have as much as a good time as they did. I Cherish those memories.

Well your plans sound great and I'm sure they will be having a grand ole time, especially with a cool mom like you, leading the way!

Hi Sugar...great to see you!!
Your Halloween plans sounds great!! I only have one left that is trick or treating (she is 12) and this year she wants to go with friends. Her friend's dad is going to pull a trailer so that will be fun for them.

I’m great, Xmastidings! How about you and the wife? How is the house coming along?

DH and I actually talked about putting our trailer on our vehicle, so we could cover up, take beverages and so on, that way we don’t ha d go carry the cooler. We enjoy it as much as the kids!

Thank you so much for saying so. I sometimes feel I don’t do enough for my kids, it remind myself that DH and I both have jobs that keep us busy and we’re both in the line of helping other people. My kids say all the time how blessed they are and so thankful for the fun that we give them. I’m thankful as well!

Hi SnowflakeMom! Thank you - great to see you too! How is all with you and your family?

That sounds like so much fun! We actually thought about pulling our trailer this’s year as well!

Good morning, everyone!

Busy. My dad is in town until tomorrow morning. Tonight, we are heading to watch the Bruins vs. Senators hockey game. Also, I've been super busy with teaching, marking, and all the other fun thing. I have a few photos of Christmas in my Blossoms Cannon that I hope to share soon. I'll have them up by this weekend. Of course, I will likely have even more before then, too.

Our season is coming. So soon and we will see that Christmas is all around us!

Sounds like you're getting prepared!!

Can't do flannel sheets - too warm!!! LOL But you enjoy!!!
With dew points in the low teens, last weekend, we have reluctantly made the seasonal switch. -shiver-

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

I played in a golf tournament yesterday, and it was a BEAUTIFUL day! I didn't always hit the ball straight, but who cares LOL.

Now I have to hit the floor running. I'm still trying to finish-up Elizabeth's play props, and Nancy keeps adding stuff to it. I've been painting since Sunday afternoon, and we still have stuff to paint.

I've had a meeting in 10 minutes, then a customer tour at 10am. Sooner or later, I've got to get something done!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
Darn faulty golf clubs...

She's doing really well, thank you for asking. School is keeping her really busy this year, she has more kids in her classes, then she did last year this time, because they laid-off some teachers at the end of last year up here. With so many kids, managing between 85-100 kids a day, can definitely take it out of you.

We have been busy, busy, busy. With the Holidays fast approaching and this being our first Christmas in our new home this year, we got a lot going on, in and out of the house; It's super exciting and fun!

We are talking about setting up the Christmas tree(s), especially with our kitty's Shiloh and Ariel in mind. Both of us are foreseeing 2 kitty cats, climbing up in the trees, getting into the ornaments, so we are trying to decide, just how many to put up and where to put them at in the house.

It's so wonderful Sugar, to have a such a great, loving and beautiful wife, a cute little humble home and a family once more. I am thankful and very humbled, for the Lord has truly blessed me with a new life.

I’m so glad to hear things are going so well for you. She sounds like she’s a gem! I forgot to post this earlier, but we’re expextinf another family member as well! We have a new golden retriever coming to our family November 10th, so it’s going to be an interesting Christmas here with decorations as well!

Have fun Thursday, sounds like it will be a blast. How awesome that the kids have off from school the next day too!
And congrats on the new addition!!!

Thank you—-Mr. was able to pick up the book from the post office because he came home early because of his cold. It was carefully packed and in very nice condition—-I just leafed through it looking at the illustrations. I’m tickled to have it!

Merry Tuesday, MC!

You're welcome. I hope Mr. is better today!

It's so nice you found a book you treasure. I have a vintage copy of Mother West Wind's Children by Thornton W. Burgess ~ love it! My hometown library had several copies of his books and when I first learned to read, I checked them out several times over. :)

Thanks! He bounced back pretty fast cause he was sulking at first and now he's running all over like usual. The vet says some dogs are just more prone to getting it.

Merry Tuesday, Edge!

I hope Rollins will be alright!

Happy Tuesday!! Typical work day for me and my husband's car is in the shop, a couple of radiator hoses went so he has my car for the day. Hopefully it won't be too expensive. Yesterday in my daughter's soccer game she got hit in the face with ball at close range...she has a little black eye and had a bit of headache when she got home. I called the pediatrician but she didn't think it was a concussion and gave me signs to look for it but so far she seems ok. Hope you all have a great day!

Merry Tuesday, SfM!

Praying your daughter is better!
