We worked on Elizabeth's play props until 8pm last night, and I was up at daylight working on tonight's Haunted House at the school, headed-up by, guess who...Elizabeth. LOL That girl loves to volunteer. And I can't say no to those "Pleasssssee, Daddy?" requests for help. Oh well.
I was excited to buy my cards for the Card Exchange yesterday! I did sign up, even though I didn't get a ribbon under my name LOL. I was late signing up, and I know Jeff is starting to get slammed with work this time of year. I don't know how he keeps up with the demand on his time!

Yes! Excited to celebrate the two months until being incredibly full of Christmas dinner by watching Elf tonight!
Carolina's school trip was to the Brandywine Zoo in Delaware. It's a nice little zoo attached to Brandywine Park. The classes got a lesson on nocturnal animals in the education center and we got to explore the zoo. They have about 20 to 25 animals and when you get to the end of the zoo you turn around and get to see the animals as you are leaving. It was a fun day but quite chilly.
Tomorrow Carolina has her 5 year well child visit in the morning and then I work at night.

Cooling off again, but it was not too bad here yesterday.
Today should be clear but it could be rainy for the first part of our trip to Florida tomorrow. Down there, it is predicted to be warm and clear.
Our current thermometer reading stands at a chilly 41 degrees here in the capital city.

Hi friends! Happy Rudolph Day and 2 months until Christmas! Tonight was Trick-or-Treat and the kids had a blast. Here was a picture of myself and the kids - hope you all had a great day! Hallmark movies start tomorrow!
Morning MMC! Happy Friday! Another busy week at work and the next 2 weeks will only be busier. I feel like these Autumn weeks go by like a blur. Can't believe it will be the last weekend before Halloween. I can't fathom it. This month just seems to go so fast. Even though September started to go faster, it feels like October is twice as fast. Have a great TGIF!

Happy Friday!
It’s going to be partly sunny today with a high of 56 degrees. We have a Nor’Easter passing through tomorrow, we’re expecting high winds and heavy rain. I’m going to get a few errands over with today so I don’t have to worry about going out tomorrow. My youngest is going to run errands with me and we’re going to grab Chipotle for lunch. That’s about it. Should be a relaxing evening, we have a couple of shows to catch up with.
I hope everyone has a nice day and a wonderful weekend ahead!

Typical day of work for me and my daughter has a soccer game tonight and then tomorrow looks like we will be home for most of the day!! A Nor'easter of heavy rain and winds...hoping for no power outages! Hope you all have a great Friday and weekend...the last weekend of October! How did that happen??

The Haunted House was a great success! The kids did an awesome job, and the crowd was MUCH bigger than they expected. We cleaned everything up, and the haunted halls are now classrooms again LOL.

Hallmark Movies starts their Countdown at 12 pm today! It’s so exciting - I just love that site. I check it everyday and never have trouble finding anything to watch. There is sometimes too much on!
