Still watching the last bit of AMC Fear Fest over here on the West Coast. Doing my usual say up all Halloween night tradition!

For me, I won't be taking my Halloween stuff down until probably Sunday. So I still have a few more evenings to enjoy it. And as I do every year, I'll spend the next few days just watching all the remaining Halloween and horror content I have recorded on my DVR. I can never let a holiday go so abruptly once it's over, got to let it down slowly. :)

I'll probably make a few more posts here. Anyways, Happy Halloween!

I agree! I always need some time to transition to the next holiday. We celebrate Bonfire Night on 05th and it's a little bit of the same atmosphere till then so I keep my indoor decorations and jack o lanterns lit till after the 05th.

Enjoy the remainder of Fear Fest!

Definitely going to have more of a Fall/Halloween oriented weekend. With the house still illuminated in orange and purple, I'll spend Friday and Saturday evenings watching spooky movies and TV episodes I didn't get a chance to watch during October. Basically just try to squeeze out the very last possible moments of the Halloween season that I can. Sunday is when I'll wrap it up, put away all the inside and outside decorations, and watch one last movie.

And then come Monday, it's Winter and Christmas time!

Well, Halloween is officially over. Spent all weekend just relaxing, watching a few more spooky movies and TV specials, and just enjoying the last few nights of my decorations. Yesterday I took it all down, had one last viewing of Hocus Pocus in the evening, and fell asleep.

It's so crazy what a difference a week makes. A week ago my house is illuminated in orange and purple. There's ghouls, goblins, witches, and skeletons amuk. The spooky movies are on a continuous loop. It's practically pulsating with Halloween spirit.

Now, I sit here exactly one week later, and everything is put away and back to normal. There isn't the slightest sign of what was just here. This is the first morning in a month and a half that it's like this.

The only solace in the Halloween season ending is knowing that it gets right into the Thanksgiving season, which then of course is the start of the Christmas season!

So yea, a couple of weeks of normalcy for now, and then I'll be back on the Christmas train!
