Good morning MMC and Happy Pines Day! It is freezing here and the wind is crazy. It snowed a few inches here last night and I am shocked the kids don't have a delay, mainly due to the wind and the blowing snow. I'm sitting here watching Hallmark right now and going to catch up on the boards.

Last few days have been frustrating with Sidney. She is peeing more in the house. We thought we were getting close to have her house trained, but I feel like we're back to square one. She on the other hand is doing great with chewing and other things, but I've never had this much trouble with a puppy housebreaking. I keep telling myself she is still very young and she'll come along, but it is just frustrating. I know she can't help it either, but I hope she catches along soon.

Not much planned for today at all. DH is working and I work at 7 tonight, so I'm just planning on watching Hallmark and Christmas TV, doing some laundry, and relaxing.

Hope you all have a great day!

For some reason, this year I am really liking The Chipmunk Song! :)
That's one of Carolina's favorite songs. She loves hearing Alvin get yelled at

Have a great day! I hope house training goes better fir Sidney. I also hope your kids have safe travel to school in the snowy weather

Good Wednesday morning! I have a routine dentist appointment early this morning before going to work. Though it snowed a lot yesterday, it all turned to melting snow late in tje day so no real accumulations. Temperatures will be on the rise over the next few days before it gets cold again next week. Hope everyone will enjoy a great day ahead!

Good morning fans of Christmas! Its turned into a winter wonderland here :snowball. Yesterday I received a long awaited clock from Käthe Wohlfahrt, I have had a 10 month wait for it to be built and the Fedex man just left the box at the doorstep. I guess signature required means nothing this time of year.

Good Morning, Holiday Hopers.

And with our Seasonal hopes realized, can it be long before the long-awaited and much-coveted big Day is here?
Let's check:
Days to Christmas Day: 27 (Now UNDER FOUR WEEKS!!)
Yep. Not so far off.

Things have started off here this AM at a cold 28 degrees an it will remain chilly all day, with our highs not getting out of the 40's. At least no precipitation is expected.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone.
And I'm sure you will after a visit to the 'Pines open house this evening, now fully and completely decorated for Christmas.
Don't fail to try one of the green and red-frosted fired twinkies (and take a box home for the family). And while you are munching, catch a Christmas movie in the inn's theater.
Of course, Carl will be wearing his Santa hat now for the duration.
(And Folks, you haven't lived until you've seen a camel wearing a Santa hat!)

** TRAVEL ALERT **

Yours truly will be taking a quick trip to the cottage tomorrow to check on the status of storm damage repairs and to winterize. Therefore, a guest counter will be needed for one morning only (Friday).
First volunteered-first selected!

Thanks for the count Crown. Have a great day.

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

It's finally clear outside, and cold for south Georgia! It was 32°F when I went to work. I even had ice on my windshield...that's almost unheard-of in November!

I blew my chance to shop for Cyber Monday, so I'll have to shop the old-fashioned way; go to the store.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Strange; I like to shop in person; touch the item and retrieve it personally and exchange merry words with the sales clerk. Found myself checking out the shopping channel a few times during commercials, but never ordered anything from them.
Then again, I used to deliver Consumer Distributing catalogues and it's sort of the same thing; you would order from the catalogue and pick it up at a retail outlet. Kind of like Sears Wish Book - but different.
I've only bought 3 things on-line over the years.

Thanks Crown! Santa is coming sooner than we think!

Cars can be both the greatest convenience AND the greatest inconvenience at various times! Having two in the shop simultaneously was not a good feeling; I'm so grateful my repairs were quick and easy.

If we have a prolonged cold spell, our windshield washer lines are prone to freezing up. Then it's off to the dealership to get the lines thawed out and drained, and refilled with some special way-below-zero windshield washer they have there. One of these days I'll get smart and ask them if I can buy a jug of it.

Living in the North - if it doesn't indicate -40, it doesn't go in my wiper dispenser. Problem was the one I bought over the summer wasn't -40 and I never noticed it; didn't realize they sold a different version. Glad I caught it before the whole system froze up on me. I'm a bit of a clear and clean window freak. I'm sure you could purchase a container of it.

Merry Tuesday, SfM!
Funny thing is it seems like much more snow today and it is packed down a bit now, too. Very hard to walk through ~ feeling muscles I don't usually feel today. All good, though!
Keeping the prayers and positive thoughts flowing!
xx

Our city crews aren't too quick about clearing our sidewalks and never get the streets down to the grade level - always covered in snow (unless it has melted). I was joking with a co-worker about an idea I had for snowbikes like e-bikes, but with sled runners on the bottom and a handy spot under the seat to store your groceries or other purchases.
Remember if you see it on the Dragon's Den or Shark Tank that you read the idea here first.

Happy Pines Day!! Work for me today and I am taking my Dad to the Dr's to get the results of his liver biopsy...so any prayers you can spare would be appreciated. Hope you all have a great day and I will check in later.

That's so risky on their part; glad nobody managed to walk away with it. Show us a picture of your clock if you can; I like unusual and festive clocks - saw a neat Christmas one on the shopping channel and almost picked up the phone.

Right now I am relaxing with laundry in the dryer. We may take a trip to Walmart this morning before I head into work. There is no chance of snow around us at all but they are brining the roads since it is cold and windy

Good Morning, MMC!!! We are to another chilly start with a temp of 16 right now. It’s to early in the winter for this. I have a few things to do around the apartment this morning and then mom has PT this afternoon. I have a few errands to run to while I’m out. I hope everyone has a great day!!
