Hope you find your keys!! I lost mine one time for about 6 months I left them in a jacket even though I swear I checked the pockets..lol

Thank you! I still can't believe how happy I left. I'm sure once we try some of the actual products, there will be things we will find we aren't happy with, but we will live and learn, but we are saving money too, so that is what I am also happy with. Have a great day as well!

Waaaay excessive! They kept saying that, since the work was done through the holidays, there were delays. They should have waited to take that car till after the new year.

All they want to talk about is when they're going to be closed. I need someone to tell me when they're going to work!

Boy buddy, I agree with you 100%! They should have waited. Sounds like they are trying to make excuses there and it's not like it isn't a repair that Jacob couldn't have still driven the truck with too. Very frustrating for sure and I can understand why you're upset!

We're expecting milder temps. for tomorrow compared to the last week, but 6-10 cm. of snow. Saw a frozen dead mouse on the HWY today, felt bad for it and then wondered how my mice hiding out in the cedar shrub were getting on - hope they are finding some source of food. Hopefully, they managed to stash away enough food. I usually put the old bird food near the hedge when I replace the food in the feeders hoping some critter will enjoy it.

Hope the surgery went well and it doesn't take too long to for David to heal.

The birds around here are not that fond of the feeders, so in the winter I just sprinkle the seed under the apple tree. They also eat a lot of the cat food I put out on the porch, some preferring that to seed.

It is very good of you to put the feeders around the hedges for the critters to enjoy.

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

It's supposed to rain today. I was worried that the mud puddles in my yard were starting to dry up.

Elizabeth is going to a BETA Club convention in Savannah for dance and singing competition tonight and tomorrow. Nancy and I are thinking of driving over when I get off work, to see her compete.

I'm stuck in the staff meeting this morning, and the discussion about how to dispose of aerosol cans has dragged on for 30 minutes. Ugh. LOL!

Merry Wednesday!

What a mess outside! We got about 3.5 inches of snow, but what is underneath it is ice. Now it is raining. Most schools in the area are closed and traffic is moving very slow down the road. I cleared the porch off and got the animals fed and the trash out. Now I am resting as my cold has gotten worse. I don't feel all that bad, but I am coughing a lot more so it is good that I am home.

Happy Pines Day!! I have been up since 2:30 no idea why?? So after I got my girls on the bus I went to the gym. I am sure I will need a cup of coffee this afternoon. My youngest daughter is going with my husband and her basketball gteam to a women's UCONN basketball game tonight. So it will just be my oldest and I tonight. I am so looking forward to some warmer weather coming.. Hope you all have a good day!

sugar thank you so much for your support and for everyone's encouragements. Yes he will get a nerve block for his shoulder surgery so he won't feel a thing for a few hours afterwards. His anesthesiologist did tell him to take his medicine before going to bed after the surgery, even if there is no pain yet, so he's been warned about that already. Now we have to find him pants with an elastic waist and boots he can just slip on. Just getting things ready for next week.

Sounds like they have him on the right track! A pillow and the immobilizer they will give him to help him will be his friend too, but again, as they said, keeping a head of the pain will be his biggest battle! If I can help in any way, let me know!

Good afternoon, friends! Finally getting to make my actual post. This am was one of "those" mornings. DD was having a pre-teen morning or for what it's worth, that is what it's been feeling lately to DH and myself. She was awake when I got up, already using her iPad, but still managed to drag her feet, with 5 minutes to spare, had to run down the street to catch the bus (we used to always take and pick them up from school), but when it's just me here, now, they are stuck riding the bus, she ran to stop, crying saying it's all my fault she was late, blah, blah. I realized after she got on the bus, she forgot her viola in her bedroom.

But - - - it's been peace and quiet since, I've got a lot done since and I'm currently relaxing now!

We are down now to a scant TWENTY days to the end of the first quarter of our Season count and the start of the second. Under three weeks, now.

Still chilly here yesterday, but a bit less so and we had plenty of sun.
Now today is supposed to see us warm up to near 60, with only a 20 percent chance of rain.
That will change tonight when the chance of precip increases to 100 percent.
Right now, we have settled in at 36 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday Folks, and a Perfect Pines visit this evening, where Carl will be on hand as usual with the traditional refreshments, coupled with unique (and often experimental!) entertainment.

Hello, my name is Mark and I have an after Christmas clearance problem. People really need to buy it all up so I stop seeing it and thinking about how it deserves a loving home instead of being there all alone on the clearance shelf. I might have enough ornaments to decorate the Rockefeller center tree next year if I keep it up. At least the weather is going to get bad again so that’ll make me stay home.

Oh and Christmas tree shop had advent calendars for $.10 and I will neither confirm or deny that I bought 20 of them so I could open one every day between now and next Christmas.
