My office bamboo suddenly took a turn and I know I have to throw it out, but I had it for 10 years and it was touching the ceiling from the file cabinet and I had so many people that would comment on it when they stopped by; I'm kind of sad about it, but then again, 10 years is the longest I've kept a plant alive.

In my years of being a baseball years...I won just over 200 games in 9 years....and none of them were basketball. None of them involved kids under 13. I don't know anything about basketball....heck, I barely know something about 5 year olds.

Good Afternoon/Evening MMC friends...Hope everyone is having a Merry weekend so far...Had a lovely time away with the family but glad to be back home too though...My girls had a fab time doing what they wanted...Took the girls to an ice-hockey game,Then we went bowling and after that we went to the cinema and watched Mary Poppins Returns...managed to fit loadsa fun in on the 2 days away....My girls will be 8yrs old tomorrow so we have family and friends coming over for drinks,snacks and birthday cake..Enjoy your evening ahead MMC friends:)

We just booked our room at a fancy lodge for our grandsons wedding in May. It's exciting; I like going to weddings especially when there is family involved.
I remember one time I was going to the wedding of my cousin's best friend and her husband was in charge of getting me there and approving of what I was going to wear. I showed up in a floral dress on white with mauve socks and gold sandals. HaHa. I don't recall any photos of that get-up. I surely didn't match much.

Morning MMC! It's weird with no football on a Sunday. Obviously, the pro bowl is on but not many people usually watch it. It's kind of like Pre-Season. It's supposed to be a decent Mid-Winter day here which we should take cause the 2nd half of the coming week looks brutally cold again. Have a great Sunday everyone!
 
Good morning, my Christmas loving friends! Hope you enjoyed the first half of your weekend. We had a blast yesterday at practice, then we went out to eat with my Mom. Great day!

Today, we are going to have a nice afternoon (50ish degree weather), but our fortunes will soon change. We have a cold front coming through, like many of you, and it is going to get down right chilly. Low teens and a wind chill of single digits to below 0 for most of the week. No snow, but cold weather for sure. Think I need to make a pot of soup today to help combat this cold weather.

Folks, I hope you have a great day! Maybe I will get to check in tonight! Stay warm!
 
Good Weekend Morning Part II.
And just like yesterday, this second part arrives with a whole new set of count figures.

Here they are, submitted for your approval:
Days to the Season: 290
Days to Christmas Day: 332

And, of course, we also get the latest update on our Milestone status:
The first quarter of our Season count will terminate precisely 16 days from today.
TWO WEEKS from the day after tomorrow!
Will the second quarter be as enjoyable as the first?
That remains to be seen, but I'm optimistic!

We returned to somewhat chillier conditions yesterday but it was clear, sunny and dry.
Today is predicted to be rain-free again, with highs in the mid 50's.
This Pro Bowl day has commenced here at 33 degrees.

Have a Super Sunday, Guys!
 
Good Sunday morning, Christmas friends!

My family would NOT get up in time for church this morning. I can't blame them, though; it's my responsibility to get my family to church, and I dropped the ball. It won't happen next week, I betcha!

Dinner Friday night with just the four of us was so good for my heart!

I didn't do a thing yesterday. Not a thing. I played computer games, then I played Playstation games till it was time for supper LOL.

We're heading to Mama's for lunch in a couple hours. I hope y'all have a great day! :D
 
Good morning .. Used my new belgian waffle maker this morning and made waffles for breakfast. Also using my new bread maker this morning too making a fresh loaf of sandwhich bread for dinner. Got the waffler maker and breadmaker for CHristmas ... Kitchen smells wonderful. Loal grocery store had turkeys on sale this week so I will be roasting a turkey in a little while, making turkey panini sandwiches for dinner tonight. I love spending time in the kicthen making goodies.

I am making chicken noodle soup and meatballs and pasta sauce for a few meals during the week.

Enjoying a meatloaf sandwich for lunch.

My dad has a bread maker, but hasn't used it in a while. There's nothing like the smell of hot bread baking in the oven - except maybe turkey with stuffing and Christmas cookies.

I bought myself a new lunch bag for work and O'Malley noticed the cardboard that was inside and got all excited and meowed at me so I gave it to him. He promptly took it over near his scratching arch and plopped down on it so I couldn't change my mind and take it back.

Silly cat; he has three comfortable beds to choose from and he goes with cardboard.

Stay jolly, everyone!

Sounds so good and I am sure your house smells amazing. Pets are so funny .. got to love them.
