Good Wednesday morning! My last of 6 straight work days, feeling exhausted but looking forward to getting through it so I can start my 11 days off. David will await a call today to get the details on how to prep for his surgery tomorrow. His physiotherapist mentionned that by next week he should already have an evaluation to start back his treatments, that fast. I'll be there to help him every step of the way.
I had a nice surprise at work yesterday, as my former boss, who had been on sick leave since last April, is back progressively and will start at my store to re-train. It was a pleasure to see him, he's such a great guy and it was hard to see him go through a burnout last year.

Morning MMC! Happy Next to Last Day of January! So fast I know...and so COLD coming. But it should only last a couple of days and we'll actually be milder by the weekend and even warm (for February) into next week. Just gotta order my sandwich for the Superbowl today. And work. And come home to rest. Have a great Pines Day!

Happy Hump Day!! Typical work day for me and we have my daughter's soccer banquet from 6-9. I need to make a dessert not sure what I will make...maybe some chocolate chip cookies? Not looking forward to the cold weather coming but at least it is only for a couple of days. Hope you all have a great day!

Time once again to drag ourselves out of bed, turn on the computer.....
........then wake up with shock at how far along our count is!
Today's jolt:
Days to the Season: 287
Days to Christmas Day: 329
Not fully awake, yet?
OK. Get a load of this:
We are now UNDER 2 weeks off from the end of the first QUARTER of the Season and the commencement of the second.
(Ah! NOW you're awake, right?)
Pretty pleasant here yesterday morning for January, but then it turned cold in the afternoon and rain began to fall. We are now below freezing and any remainig moisture will turn the roads slick. Fortunately, we are predicted to get into the 40's by this afternoon, so should be OK.
At this hour, we have lots of sun and show 27 degrees on our thermometer.
'Pines Day again. Yep. Right on schedule at mid-week. (Last one of January already!) Won't be long before Carl will be gearing up for Valentines day, and that should be a "sweet" open house, indeed.
(If Carl experiments with chocolate coffee, even I might give it a try!)

Probably about 8-10” of snow last night, dug most of it out by 9pm so it wasn’t so bad this morning. Hope everyone is doing well and staying warm!

Happy Wednesday / 'Pines Day!
Had to break through a shell of ice and snow on my car this morning, and tore my windshield cover pulling it off. Bleh. Expecting a hectic day at work and snow squalls on the way home. Wish me luck today! This morning Mr. said, "Let's all stay home today ... " Wish we could have!

Hello from sunny central Indy where it’s currently -5. It’s going to be our coldest day in 23 years. Rain, sleet, and snow may not stop the mail from being delivered but -40 wind chills will. I can see why too, I stepped out to get my paper this morning and turned into a marksicle. I won’t complain though. I can stay inside all day unlike Snowflake22 who was on her way to work when the actual air temp was -30 this morning. I hope everyone has a great day and stays safe!!

The -51 wind chill wasn't much fun, either, this morning...Meanwhile, the forecast is beyond silly. Today's high is -14. By Sunday we're erasing the negative sign, flipping the numbers around, and heading for 41 with rain showers. Let's hear it for Pacific flow!

I took my mom to a doctor's appointment today, and just got back to work...in time to leave LOL.

Thank you everyone for your well-wishes regarding David’s surgery but he learned this afternoon that it has been postponed until Ferbuary 14th. He was not happy about it. I moved my vacation as well so I can be there for him. These things happen.
