Happy Valnetine's Day MMC! Not a bad day today. Low 40s and some sunshine. That's not bad for Mid-February. I have an eye Dr. appointment so I have to leave work for an extra long lunch break. Other than that, nothing special today. Happy V-Day!

Good early Valentine's Day! I don't know how many centimetres of snow we got overnight Tuesday into Wednesday but I got stuck again twice going into work, because our parking lot had not been cleared at all and our street was a mess. Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers to help push the car and kitty litter to stop the wheels from spinning. I told David that never again am I taking the car out in a snow storm if our area has not been cleared properly.

I am up early because today is David's surgery and we have to be at the hospital for 7:30. It's about an hour's drive but with Winter road conditions, we'll leave around 6am. I woke up around 3am and couldn't really get back to sleep so I got up. I'm also starting an 11-day vacation to assist David in his first week of recovery. A break from work is most welcome. Have a great day everyone!

Sending comforting thoughts and prayers for David's surgery and speedy recovery.

Good Morning - Merry Makers, Everywhere -lights-

The snow stopped about 3:30 yesterday and will start again about the same time later today. I have to clear my car off a bit, but it's not even close to what I had to remove yesterday.

Good news is the weather is mild enough that I don't have to plug my car in overnight so I've been backing in lately to make it easier to head out.

I do have a bit of travelling to do today, but I'll be back before the snow comes.

I have tomorrow off as a planned vacation day - this is Family Day Weekend in some of our Provinces to help with the winter blahhs.

We had to cancel our plans to visit the boys and grands tomorrow and Saturday. My husband had two nasty falls and is all bruised up and cut so he wants to go when he doesn't look so bad; he doesn't want to scare anyone, plus he doesn't think he can sit in the car for 3.5 hours since he landed on his keister yesterday. Part of the reason I wound up working from home yesterday.

Today, I'm at work and he is under the care of O'Malley the cat. Not the best doctor, but I expect he'll sleep most of the day too.

Happy Love Whomever You Please Day - we don't do much for Valentine's Day anymore, we enjoy a nice dinner at home, but we don't wait for Feb. 14th to express our love.

As a youngster, I recall looking forward to buying packages of Valentine Cards to exchange with my classmates (never a Charlie Brown moment - thankfully), but now that I'm a grown up (could be questionable), I really don't think this day is meant for children; it's for couples and newlyweds mostly and stores to cash in on the purse strings of the romantics.

Keep a merry thought in your head :bundleup

and love in your heart - furbabies count! +h

Happy Valentine's Day!! Not too much planned for the day..my husband is working late tonight so I think my daughters and I may have pizza for dinner. We will celebrate this weekend with a nice dinner at home. Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning, Vivacious Valentines Voyagers!

And we are forever voyaging here, always bound for our next Milestone pause on the way to the ultimate destination, our beloved Christmas Season!

Today's figures, presented in their entirety without preemption:
Days to the Season: 272
Days to Christmas Day: 314

Now.
Take a look at that second number. It should immediately inform you concerning the proximity of our next Milestone marker, number three on our 2019 chart.
That's right.
TWO WEEKS from today, we will arrive at the 300-day Christmas Day Window and begin a double-200's level count.
(Just speeding right along, we are!)

We remained coolish yesterday, but really not too bad for February. It was wet in the AM but dry in the PM.
Today should see us reach the low to mid-60's, with a near 0 percent chance of precipitation.
We have started off chilly but very sunny here this morning, at 39 degrees.

How did you guys like those chocolate-chip fired twinkies at the Shispering Pines last evening? I thought they were pretty good, myself.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Everybody!

Good Morning MMC!
I hope everyone, who choses to acknowledge it, has a great Valentines Day! lol. Snowing again here today, but its just the nice looking kind of snow. Light, fluffy and not really accumulating .. just looks pretty. Hope everyone is having a great day.

Welcome Friday and a four day weekend for me.

Getting together with my dad on Sunday, but other than that no major plans other than some early Spring cleaning.

I have to tackle the walk-in closet and bathroom first, but hoping to get a chance to sweep and vacuum; lots of cat hair around here.

Hoping to get O'Malley to the groomers next Saturday for a good brushing.

Here's a little Friday treat for you; Kevin Hearn from the Bare Naked Ladies is on keyboards and a quick chat with Al Waxman the King of Kensington and former Cagney and Lacey star from Friday Night with Ralph Benmergui way back.

Stay jolly! -santa dance-

Good 2nd half of February MMC! Oh and TGIF of course! Definitely looking forward to this weekend. It's much needed. We have 2 more full weeks in February. Maybe because we haven't had a bad winter here but this winter seems to have moved steadily through. I STILL see a few random lights around which are the most awesome people. Have a great TGIF!

Merry Friday ~
It’s going to be cloudy with a chance of showers today, highs near 50 degrees. Not too much going on, just a typical day of errands and chores. I’m also having lunch with my youngest and then we’re going to visit my parents. That’s about it. I hope everyone eryone has a nice day!

Two people on my road still have their lights on...not sure how much longer it will last?

Good Morning, Weekend Seekers!

Of course, we seek more than just weekends around these parts, but it will do for now, right!

And this will do to start off the day right:
Days to the Season: 271
Days to Christmas Day: 313

Want some icing on the cake?
Try this for taste:
We are now UNDER two weeks away from the 300-day Christmas Day Milestone marker and the commencement of a double-200's count pattern.
(Well! That makes me feel like I just can't wait for the weekend to arrive!)

It warmed up yesterday as promised, and we topped out at 64 degrees for an excellent Valentine's Day.
Today, it should truly be exceptional, at 68 rain-free degrees, before we drop to the low to mid 50's for tomorrow with a near 100 percent chance of precipitation.
Our current reading is 55 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends!
Enjoy your Weekend Eve.

Praying David's surgery went well!!

TGIF, Christmas friends!

It's an overcast morning, but it's not supposed to rain. That would be nice...for a few days, anyway.

I hope y'all have a great day! :)
