Good early Valentine's Day! I don't know how many centimetres of snow we got overnight Tuesday into Wednesday but I got stuck again twice going into work, because our parking lot had not been cleared at all and our street was a mess. Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers to help push the car and kitty litter to stop the wheels from spinning. I told David that never again am I taking the car out in a snow storm if our area has not been cleared properly.
I am up early because today is David's surgery and we have to be at the hospital for 7:30. It's about an hour's drive but with Winter road conditions, we'll leave around 6am. I woke up around 3am and couldn't really get back to sleep so I got up. I'm also starting an 11-day vacation to assist David in his first week of recovery. A break from work is most welcome. Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning, Vivacious Valentines Voyagers!
And we are forever voyaging here, always bound for our next Milestone pause on the way to the ultimate destination, our beloved Christmas Season!
Today's figures, presented in their entirety without preemption:
Days to the Season: 272
Days to Christmas Day: 314
Now.
Take a look at that second number. It should immediately inform you concerning the proximity of our next Milestone marker, number three on our 2019 chart.
That's right.
TWO WEEKS from today, we will arrive at the 300-day Christmas Day Window and begin a double-200's level count.
(Just speeding right along, we are!)
We remained coolish yesterday, but really not too bad for February. It was wet in the AM but dry in the PM.
Today should see us reach the low to mid-60's, with a near 0 percent chance of precipitation.
We have started off chilly but very sunny here this morning, at 39 degrees.
How did you guys like those chocolate-chip fired twinkies at the Shispering Pines last evening? I thought they were pretty good, myself.
Have a Thrilling Thursday, Everybody!
Glad you planned a grea trip! Enjoy it!
I'm glad she likes it!
Two people on my road still have their lights on...not sure how much longer it will last?Good 2nd half of February MMC! Oh and TGIF of course! Definitely looking forward to this weekend. It's much needed. We have 2 more full weeks in February. Maybe because we haven't had a bad winter here but this winter seems to have moved steadily through. I STILL see a few random lights around which are the most awesome people. Have a great TGIF!
